Day 1: Sofia
You arrive in Sofia, the largest city and capital of Bulgaria. KHLMotoTravel will transfer you from the airport to the hotel. Later that evening, you are getting acquainted and meeting with fellow riders.
Day 2: Sofia - Bansko (about 200 kilometers / 124 miles)
Today is the first day of the tour. You will ride on an asphalt for a while, and then go off-road. The adventure begins! You will move southwards along the Rila Mountains, then will climb the Belmeken high-altitude reservoir, which is the highest one on the Balkan Peninsula. Through the Rila National Park, you will come to a wonderful place with panoramic views of three mountain ranges - Pirin, Rila and Rodopi.
After that, your way goes to the city of Bansko, the largest ski resort in Bulgaria. During the winter season, which lasts from December to May, the city is full of winter sports fans. And in summer hikers, mountain bikers, mountaineers, horse riders and many others come here. The Jazz Music Festival in August is the most important cultural event in the city, and attracts thousands of visitors.
Later that day you will go to SPA, have dinner, and discuss the further route.
Day 3: Bansko - Dospat (about 100 kilometers / 62 miles)
The adventures continue. Today you are moving along the off roads. You will enjoy breathtaking views on the way. You will see the mythical Rhodope Mountains - one of the cradles of European civilization. The remains of Roman roads that have survived the days connect the Aegean cities with the Mountainous Thracian lowlands. You are planning to stop at a small alpine lake for a picnic and then go to the hotel in Dospat city, located on the shore of the reservoir.
Day 4: Dospat - Devin (about 100 kilometers / 62 miles)
The adventures continue off-road, in the Rhodope Mountains. You will admire untouched nature and panoramic views. The night you will spend in Devin city, known for its mineral water with miraculous properties.
Day 5: Devin - Pamporovo (about 70 kilometers / 43 miles)
Today you are moving through the most beautiful area in Radopi. They occupy 83% of the massif in Bulgaria and 17% in Greece. You will also cross the ski slopes of Pamporovo resort, where you will stop for lunch. Pamporovo is the southernmost and sunniest of Bulgaria's ski resorts.
Day 6: Pamporovo – Sofia (about 240 kilometers / 149 miles)
Today is the last day of the "rolling" and another steep route but on asphalt. Returning to Sofia, you will drive along the most popular road among bikers. It attracts with its serpentines and fascinates with its landscapes.
Day 7: Sofia
Today, your adventures finish and KHLMotoTravel will escort you to the airport.
