Program
Requirements for accreditation and certified level membership of IACT
Requirements for full certificate accreditation and certified level membership of IACT are as follows:
- Completion of both modules of the Zoom training in the mornings as well as the afternoon practice sessions.
- Continued personal development is an important part of you becoming a skilled hypnotherapist there will be master trainer support during weekly Zoom sessions for twelve weeks after. This is to support you as you develop your hypnotherapist skills, work on your case studies, and build your hypnotherapy practice.
- Transpersonal hypnotherapy certification – Module 1: Submit three written and one recorded and written audio session (four in total).
- Past life regression certification – Module 2: Submit three written and one recorded and written audio session (four in total).
- Write and submit your own induction.
- All eight case studies (your own induction can be part of your submitted case studies) to be submitted to master trainer Karin Laing. You will receive individual case study feedback from Karin Laing. Once accepted the submitted case studies will be signed off by the master trainer.
- Once the case studies have been accepted and accredited for membership with the International Association of Counsellors and Therapists (IACT) (USA) you will be required to pay your yearly certified membership fee (this is not included in your training fee).
- You will be eligible to be on the IACT website as a hypnotherapist
- You will receive your certificate with your practice number.
- You have eight months from the completion date of your training to complete and submit your case studies to Karin Laing for review and accreditation.
Student membership to IACT:
Included in the training cost and tuition package is the $59 fee for 6-month student membership to IACT. This will give you as a Hypnotherapy student complete access to all the information in the IACT virtual library, the newsletter, journal, and chat group while in training. There is also a virtual tour located on their homepage to acquaint yourself with the benefits of membership. As a student, you will have access to the virtual library for independent reading and to support our lectures.
Please include a copy of a legal ID photo, such as a driver’s licence with the application. If your case studies are completed within the six months, they will be able to upgrade you to a certified level membership and the student level membership will be applied towards the certified membership thus reducing the cost for full membership for a year to $40. Please note no certificate is issued with a student membership. You get an online account for access to the IACT site.
How the course works
IACT have requested that out of the 220 hours required, the school/instructor facilitates 110 hours of the training on Zoom. Each day will be divided into lessons, examples, and interactively practising the sessions on each other. The aim is that the students become familiar with facilitating Hypnotherapy and Past Life Regression Therapy sessions.
The other 110 hours consist of; homework assignments, reading, distance learning, research projects, as well as twelve weekly group Zoom calls after completion of the training where you will be supported as you prepare your case studies for accreditation. All the sessions will be recorded on Zoom and sent to the students at the end of each day.

Course information
The main course consists of two modules: Transpersonal Hypnotherapy, and Regression Therapy which includes Past Life Regression techniques.
Each module combines six days of training with 110 hours of online Zoom classes and supervised clinical hours which are to be attended online.
Upon completion of this course (Module 1 & 2), and on completion of your case studies, you will be eligible to be on the IACT website as a Hypnotherapist. You will receive your certificate of completion from Karin Laing Holistic Academy as well as your membership certificate from IACT with your practice number.
Module 1: Transpersonal Hypnotherapy:
This helps an individual connect their mind, body and soul with a focus on spiritual potential and in the process achieve inner mastery as they overcome limiting beliefs, overcome addictions and repeating patterns.
Module 2: Past Life Regression Therapy:
Regression therapy focuses on the Past events and how they influence present behavior. This includes inner child regression, age regression, in-utero regression and Past Life Regression.
Instructors
Karin Laing
Karin Laing is an internationally certified transpersonal hypnotherapist, past-life regression therapist, and energy healer. Karin specializes in transformational coaching and intuitive counseling, helping her clients achieve clarity and move forward in their lives. Karin is a fully licensed and registered therapist. In 2018, she followed her soul purpose and moved her practice from her hometown of Johannesburg, South Africa to the beautiful Mediterranean island of Gozo (Malta) where she established L’Għarix Temple Retreat. L’Għarix (La Reesh) means “Sanctuary” in Maltese.
Location
This transpersonal hypnotherapy course is held online. L’Għarix Temple Retreat is based in Gozo, Malta (GMT+2 / GMT+1) and they will live-stream the classes via Zoom which you can participate from the comfort of your home by just using your phone or computer.
