Come join Let's Eat The World for another delicious, inspiring tour in Andalusia, Spain. Owner Yetunde Oshodi-Fraudeau invites you to join her and her chef for a culinary vacation in Seville, Spain. Your culinary vacation week includes both half-day and full-day activities with an experienced international chef instructor and travel expert. You'll stay in a beautifully decorated home in the heart of Seville city and enjoy 6 days of cooking, tasting, wine and cheese, tapas, market visits, and more.

You will be staying in a beautiful centrally located private home in Seville. Shared and private rooms are available. The accommodations are located in the Arenal neighborhood of Seville. These accommodations are based on availability and we can not confirm them until we have at least the minimum number of participants in our group.

Based on group size, we will either have two houses available for our guests each with bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. There is only one twin bedroom and the shower room is located just outside the bedroom.

This is a 4-bedroom, 4 bathroom house on 3 floors. The house has an elevator. There is a lovely roof terrace where we will enjoy a aperitivo together. 3 bedrooms have queen-size beds with en suite bathrooms, and 1 bedroom has twin beds. Two of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor and the other 2 bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor (2 flights up).

A festive week in southern Spain

A taste of Spain in this 7-night culinary tour in Seville created for food and wine lovers who wish to explore and indulge in the fun, vibrant atmosphere that Spain and more specifically, Andalusia, is known for. You will be guided by Chef Samuel Rubio Ortega & owner of Let's Eat The World, Yetunde Oshodi-Fraudeau, who will share what they love most about this lively city and region.

What to expect

You will enjoy 4 hands-on Spanish cooking lessons including tapas and paella Chef Sam, a local Spanish chef. During an exclusive private tour, You will discover Andalusia's Islamic and royal past in the company of expert guides. You will discover the Spanish wines and sherries with a day trip out to the sherry-producing region including in-depth commentary and exquisite tastings.

All breakfasts are included and you will enjoy restaurant dining for some of the best tapas and local cuisine in the company of your chef and guide. You will feel the vibrations and behold the beauty of the artful and majestic flamenco, both personally and as a spectator, filled with the understanding of the art.

They highly encourage you to extend your stay in Andalusia as much as you can to explore beyond the beautiful city or to partake in its many cultural events depending on the program week you join.

Sample daily schedule

The following is a sample program for your week in Seville. The program is subject to change due to weather or the availability of its partners. A more definitive program will be given to you on the day of your arrival. Barring any changes in weather and the desires of the group, this final program will be what you can expect for the week.

Let's Eat The World asks that you try to be understanding about any slight modifications that will not affect your overall enjoyment of the program.

Day 1: Saturday - Arrival

  • Arrive at the guesthouse in Seville center by 4:30 p.m.
  • Evening out to enjoy the Sevillan nightlife and an evening of wine and tapas.

Day 2: Sunday - 1st day of class (Spanish cuisine)

  • After a Spanish-style breakfast, your day begins.
  • Your first lesson will take place directly at the house to prepare lunch for the day.
  • Free evening

Day 3: Monday - El Real Alcazar

  • After breakfast, head to the Alcazar for a private guided tour of El Real Alcazar in the heart of the city. Admire the architecture and the history of this royal palace, parts of which date back to the Middle Ages.
  • The tour will be followed by a superb North African luncheon to keep you in the atmosphere of Sevilla's Islamic past.
  • A free afternoon after lunch for a siesta.
  • Private evening Spanish cooking class, followed by dinner.

Day 4: Tuesday - Spanish cooking lesson

  • Spanish-style breakfast at the house, followed by another hands-on cooking lesson with chef Samuel for Spanish cuisine beyond tapas.
  • Free time after lunch until you convene again in the kitchen to prepare and enjoy paella and sangria.

Day 5: Wednesday - Sherry tour and tasting

  • After a quick breakfast, you are off to Jerez de la Frontera to visit another part of Andalusia’s Islamic past at the Alcazar; not quite as large as that of Seville but no less breathtaking.
  • After your walk-through visit, head off to a sherry tasting to discover this fortified wine.
  • Enjoy lunch together in Jerez.
  • Free evening

Day 6: Thursday - Spanish-inspired tapas

  • Today after your breakfast, chef Samuel is going to guide you through a lesson in food fusion.
  • In Sevilla, you will encounter both traditional tapas as well as modern, internationally-inspired small bites.
  • Today’s lesson will be a way to show you just how easy it is to marry flavors even when you return home.
  • You’ll meet in the evening to head off to your flamenco dance class where you will learn about the moves and story behind this internationally renowned dance.
  • Conclude your evening at the Tablao to enjoy wine, tapas, and a wonderful awe-inspiring flamenco performance.

Day 7: Friday - Triana Market/Chorros con Chocolate

  • They’ve saved this treat for last. No visit to Seville can go without a visit to the Triana Market but before you begin your visit and shopping, indulge in one of the most Spanish traditions there is: Chorro con Chocolate.
  • After your market tour, they’ll take you to a special lunch at one of their favorite restaurants, they have so many that they’ll have to surprise you with this one.
  • Have a light farewell tapas dinner from your Triana Market finds.

Day 8: Saturday - Departure day

  • The final breakfast together before you leave.
  • Check-out will be by 11 a.m.

You don’t have to be a chef! All cooking levels are welcome on this holiday. You will learn from an experienced international chef with over 40 years of culinary expertise (in English) in a convivial and friendly atmosphere. You will also receive your own "Week in Sevilla" recipe e-book to recreate your recipes at home. If you have any food allergies or other food restrictions, please be sure to mention them when you reserve.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Seville Airport (SVQ) or Málaga Airport (AGP). Please note that it is VERY IMPORTANT that you let us know your arrival time prior to your arrival date. We would need your exact arrival time, the form of transport and a mobile phone number on which we can reach you, if necessary, on the day of your arrival.

Taxi fares from the airport are fixed. If you wish to have a private chauffeur meet you at the airport, we will be providing you with transportation information to help you make a booking.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 45 days before arrival.
