The accommodation is offered in a superb spiritual center in Mae On. Built according to the rules of sacred architecture and incorporating special elements that create a very high spiritual vibration, this newly built ashram offers 25 standard rooms, six deluxe rooms, and six dorms with an outdoor pool, garden, and parking.

The standard and deluxe rooms are all ensuite with private bathrooms. The dorms are separate (female or male). All rooms and dorms have air-conditioners and hot water in the showers. The pool is freely available. The only difference between the deluxe and standard rooms is the size.

In this five-day silent retreat, you seek to discover the capacity to remain fully engaged in life while stayed firmly centred in inner silence. The retreat will include a combination of activities from Hatha yoga and meditation to workshop-like interactive exercises. The lectures will discuss the Tantric view on meditation and you'll be taught how to bring meditation to life. You will have days in which you will speak and days spent in silence.

The teachings combine the traditional methods of concentration (the 8 fold stages of Patanjali – focusing mainly on ) with methods taken from the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra.

Is this the same as Vipassana?

There are similarities but also differences. It’s similar from the perspective of the fact that we go in silence in the first evening and come out of silence on the morning of the last day, and you respect silence, devoting a lot of time for meditation. It’s different because you do yoga, keeping the body fresh, awake, and with a lot of energy. Even if you’ll be in silence, you aim to be deliberately heart connected to the others, and not isolated, creating a warm and sweet spiritual group. Also unlike Vipassana, you are allowed to silently embrace and keep the sweetness in the heart as a support of your meditative practice.

%Each day will include several meditations (of various lengths) as well as extended morning yoga practice, lectures, and workshop exercises. A usual day starts with Hatha yoga at 8:00 a.m. and ends with an exercise around 9:00 p.m.
