Live online MIndfulness-Based Emotional and Social Intelligence Course

The Mindfulness-Based Emotional and Social Intelligence (M-BESI) online interactive course is suitable for all and incorporates mindfulness-based practice, emotional and social intelligence (self-awareness and self-management), and the latest research on training the brain to develop resilience, health, and wellbeing. This course can be taken as an introduction as no experience is required, or to deepen existing practice.

Highlights

How the course works

The M-BESI Foundation course is 7-hours over 4-weeks. Each week you are invited to join a small group for a live online experiential session. Session one is 2.5 hours, Session two and three are 1-hour each and Session four is 2.5 hours. On the days where there are no live sessions, you can:

  • Practice using the supplied M-BESI mp3 recordings for 10-20 minutes per day
  • Use the optional 5-minute mp3 practices to find balance during the day
  • Read the Participants Workbook
  • Reflect and make notes of your direct experience
  • Set the intention to include some informal mindfulness-based practices, developing skills, and implementing actionable strategies in your daily life

Mindful Academy International will guide and support you through the learning of the M-BESI course. Practice mp3's and their extensive Participants workbook will be emailed to you once you have signed up.

Course information

The intention of the M-BESI Foundation course is to learn how to wake up to living on automatic pilot, and drop into an awareness of the present moment through the senses. You will also explore as non-judgmentally as possible your ways of reacting and explore what could be your new way of responding to your inner and outer world. You could call this training your mind and developing awareness of the present moment, which is in fact the only time we are truly alive!

Research revels that you would be correct in saying that you are learning how to integrate the different areas of your brain, literally strengthening the brains ability to regulate things like attention, thoughts, emotions and behaviors. In the process, developing resilience, heath and wellbeing with curiosity and kindness. Come and join us and find out how!

This M-BESI Foundation course is held online. Mindful Academy International is based in Spain (CEST and they will live-stream the classes via Zoom based on CEST (GMT +2) during summer and GMT+1 for session/s after October 31, 2021, which you can participate in from the comfort of your home by just using your laptop or computer.
