In this 60-minute Yoga Breath Meditation session, you will begin with grounding through seated meditation and gentle yoga warm-up poses for 10-15 minutes. Next, engage in breath techniques like Kundalini and Breath of Fire to build heat, followed by calming breath practices such as Sutali or Bumble Bee, incorporating alternate nasal breathing. The session concludes with a relaxing breath meditation, where you can choose between visualizing ocean waves or guiding participants through circle breathing in Savasana, enhanced by the soothing sound of singing bowls.
In the Yoga Sutra Meditation class, center your practice around a chosen sutra or teaching, which could range from the yamas to a specific chakra or a complete sutra of personal preference. After reading and discussing the selected sutra with the class, participants engage in journaling their thoughts. The meditation itself aligns with the sutras' principles, emphasizing pratyahara or sensory withdrawal. You will systematically explore each of the senses, from feeling the air on the skin to attending to distant and near sounds, ultimately guiding attention to the inner mind's eye for focused concentration (dharana). To accommodate varying levels of experience, Muay Thai Battle Conquer Gym provide multiple options for meditation points to ensure everyone can fully engage in the practice.
In the Buddhist Loving Kindness meditation, also known as "Metta" meditation, you will experience a heart-centered (Anahatha) practice aimed at cultivating and radiating feelings of love, compassion, and goodwill towards oneself and all living beings. Practitioners begin by directing these sentiments inward, generating self-love and acceptance. Gradually, the focus extends outward, encompassing loved ones, acquaintances, and eventually even those with whom you may have conflicts or differences. The meditation seeks to dissolve barriers and foster a sense of interconnectedness, promoting universal love and empathy. It's a profound and transformative practice that encourages the development of a kind and compassionate heart.
