This is the only camp of it's kind in a secluded part of Thailand un-touched by tourism. The Keawma family have been training Muay Thai fighters for decades, their team of trainers have been working with them since they opened their family home up to tourists nearly 10 years ago. This package has everything covered, accommodation, meals, extra training activities and excursions. Read on to discover more or request a copy of our brochure. The name of the gym itself comes from the Thai saying Phichit Suk, said to fighters for good luck and translating to “battle conquer.”

Program

About the instructors / hosts

They’re a brother and sister team with a 40 years experience in the health and fitness industry, Sarah is a specialist personal trainer, Pilates teacher, yoga and meditation teacher, Joseph is a body builder, coach, and MMA fighter.

They’ve combined their knowledge to bring to you a retreat that offers a unique mix of activities in a special part of Thailand.

Their Thai family has lived in Phetchabun for decades running the farmlands and teaching Muay Thai to the locals. You’ll get to experience their humble Buddhist way of life, soaking up their traditions and of course enjoying the food. Hidden gems, such as secret waterfalls and temple caves surround the area they live in, they’ll be sure to show you the favourite spots.

Looking to get in the best shape ever?

The pressures of weight loss in today’s society are crazy! Having to work through emotional eating behaviour can be extremely challenging, they know as they’ve done this themselves so the programme teaches healthy habits rather than having you counting calories or going hungry.

The food is not only delicious but high in protein and fibre, you can eat as much fruit, veggies and salads as you like if you want to know the science just ask Sarah! Staff will help explain portion sizes and the best way to optimise weight loss.

They keep you busy, even the temple tours are active so there’s less time sitting on the sofa and more time moving. You do not need any experience, all you need to do is get there and have fun. Being surrounded by others with the same goal is inspiring. Being surrounded by nature help to reduce stress and improve sleep, both important factors when it comes to weight loss.

Muay Thai & Western Boxing

The Keawma family has been involved in fighting, training, and promoting Muay Thai for decades, they accept all levels of fitness and experience making it perfect for all, age and ability are no barrier! The name of the gym itself comes from the Thai saying Phichit Suk, said to fighters for good luck and translating to “battle conquer.”

The Buddha Run Challenge

Take the Battle Conquer challenge of climbing three hundred steep steps to a hillside temple set in a cave as many times as you can in one hour or simply relax at the top taking in the magnificent views.

Hiking

They have several hikes that they use throughout the year depending on the season. Some take you into the jungle to a pretty waterfall, others up to the big lake for swimming or off on a tour of the countryside.

Sunday Trip

End the week with a spiritual trip to learn the teachings of Buddhism and guided meditation from the only English-speaking monk.

Looking for something different?

If you're keen to take martial arts to the next level they organise regular competition fights for the guests, it's an amazing experience not only for the competitor but for the whole camp as everyone will come along to cheer you on.

They also offer daily yoga classes and trips to local temples for meditation at an extra cost. Please ask for details on the wellness packages.
