Program

Ayurveda

The Ayurvedic system of medicine is trusted for over 5000 years as a safe and effective method to attain total rejuvenation and relief from chronic aches and pains.

Ayurveda provides an integrated approach to preventing and treating illness through lifestyle interventions, natural therapies, and medications. It is based on the view that the elements, forces, and principles that make up all of nature – which hold it together and make it function – are also apparent in human beings.

In Ayurveda, the mind (or consciousness) and the body (or physical mass) not only influence each other – they are each other. Together they form the mind-body. The universal consciousness is an intelligent, aware ocean of energy that gives rise to the physical world through your five senses. Ayurvedic philosophy and practices link you to every aspect of yourselves and remind you that you are in union with every aspect of nature, each other, and the entire universe.

There can be no mental health without physical health, and vice versa. In Ayurveda, symptoms, and diseases that could be categorized as mental thoughts or feelings are just as important as symptoms and diseases of the physical body. Both are due to imbalances within a person, and both are treated by restoring the natural balance – mentally and physically.

In Ayurveda, your whole life and lifestyle must be in harmony before you can enjoy true well-being. Lifestyle interventions are a major part of Ayurveda’s preventative and therapeutic approach.

Athirappilly Waterfalls

Athirappilly Waterfalls is located at the entrance of Sholayar Ranges, the major host town is Chalakudy, and this waterfall is one of the major picnic spots of Kerala. Affording to the onlookers, one of the most bewitching sights, Athirappally Waterfalls is 80 feet high and located exactly in the forest area.

Combined with the natural greenery, it infuses freshness into any tired soul. The Athirapally Falls joins the Chalakudy River after plummeting a drop of 80 feet.

A much-needed escape from the troubles and stress of life. Let the soothing sounds take you to some of nature's most relaxing places, the beautiful waterfalls of Athirampally and Vazhachal.

The charm of the Athirampally and Vazhachal nature cannot be described by words. Starting calmly from the high ranges and crashing through gorges overhung with trees, this waterfall is one of the best places in India to re-capture a real sense of the classical idea of the 'picturesque', not just calm and sweet, but something wild and natural.

Thumboormozhi Garden

Thumboormuzhi Dam is an irrigation dam built on the Chalakkudy Puzha where a portion of the water from the river splits into two canals namely the Edathukara canal (left side canal) and Valathukara canal (right side canal). These canals are the backbone of the irrigation for the nearby villages.

Some of the butterflies that can generally be seen in the garden include lemon butterfly (Papilio demoleus), southern bird wing (Troides minos), common rose (Pachliopta aristolochiae), light blue tiger (Tirumala limniace), dark blue tiger (Tirumala septentrionis) and common crow (Euploea core).
