A beautiful place where you can totally relax. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were very attentive and friendly to all our needs. Guatham and Dorota, the owners, made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the garden rooms for a few days, which were quiet and cool, we then had a sea view room for the rest of our stay. We watched dolphins swim by and enjoyed swimming in the sea or pool everyday. I had the package for ayurvedic food and massage. Lakshit, the personal trainer, checked in with me everyday and made sure the yoga, massage and diet all complimented each other, including a visit from the aruyvedic doctor. My husband was writing a book and he felt the environment was perfect for him to be creative. I started the day with Hatha yoga by an experienced yoga instructor, Noushad. Each morning we took a walk through the local village and to the fishing harbour, where we could watch the fishermen at work. We hired bicycles, took a trip in a Tuk Tuk to the local fesitival with elephants. Jeevarat, one of the managers, drove us to our next destination, and organised a boat trip on the back waters, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The food is fresh everyday and Karan and his staff in the restaurant were lovely people, as were many of the guests that we met. We would highly recommend a stay at 36 Palms and will hope to visit again sometime.
