To succeed in Kung Fu you only have to do two things, start and don’t give up. It is a lifetime of work but every step of the journey is rewarding.

"Great holistic retreat experience!"

This was my first encounter with Nam Yang Kung Fu, I’ve done some external martial arts long time ago and recently focused on internal.

I really enjoyed all of the classes, which were well balanced with at least two practical training sessions per day and a mix of practical and theoretical midday session. Being introduced to a variety of techniques from more inward focused and meditative to explosive fighting, it never felt overwhelming.

I found Thomas, our instructor, to be calm, patient and adapting the pace to the different skill levels of the participants. So it was a great pleasure to be part of the training.

Together with his family he was also very helpful with any matters surrounding the accommodation and the stay during the retreat in general.

The location itself is amazing, starting the day with Qi Gong on a roof terrace upon a hill with a view on the sea to both sides is unbeatable, and then continuing in a well designed studio/dojo or outside in a quiet green location.

You are surrounded by beaches (15-20min walk) where one can rest between the sessions or enjoy any of the surrounding restaurants.

I can definitely recommend!
