The experience was wonderful. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The food was great and there was a good number of options available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (get the pancakes and the zucchini ravioli). The retreat had a daily morning walk as well as 2 challenging fitness classes and 2 active recovery classes, 30 minutes each and spaced out well during the morning and afternoon. There was an indoor pool with a sauna and steam room, though both the sauna and steam room were closed due to COVID restrictions when I was there.
The spa treatments were fantastic. I did the complimentary Cryotherapy as well as a tension tamer massage, Swedish massage, Hydrotherm massage, super-food facial, and 1000 flowers detox body wrap. All treatments were lovely and very relaxing. I definitely felt rejuvenated when I left at the end of my 6 day trip.
There were also nightly events, including a sunset sorbe and health & wellness talks such as mindful eating. All three trainers, Michael, Melanie, and Jamie were lovely and truly cared about helping you set your goals. I did a life coaching session with Michael that was more about ranking different aspects of your life and making goals for improving different areas.
The retreat is setup to help you socialise. It was mostly single people looking for a reboot in life and we all felt like friends by the end of the retreat. Definitely going back again :-)
