    "Best culinary experience ever!"

    Kindness toward everyone’s abilities, from beginner to experienced, everyone was treated with kindness. Very well organized! The space was perfect size for 8 students! Already planning next trip! We are a husband and wife team and it was so wonderful to have my husband given instructions and watch him grow with enthusiasm

    for trying all the recipes when we return home!

    In a charming hamlet in Bretagne. Absolutely delightful hosts. The stories they tell! Great home/kitchen. The sheer number of cooking tools and appliances. Each apéro is Niall’s concoction. And of course the food. And the wine. And the cheese. Learned many techniques. Things I definitely haven’t done before. Poul adjusts for skill and experience. Diverse menus. You get all the recipes. Scooby Doo, their dog, is a plus! Great balance of free time and cooking and dining. They have great ideas for side trips. Definitely rent a car. Our gîte was huge and very clean. We liked the 5 minute walk past the profuse hydrangeas, quaint homes from the 1600s, and the stars at night. And the rooster!

    "Truly Satisfied Foodie"

    The class instruction was phenomenal. Chef Poul is an excellent teacher and the food we prepared was just outstanding! The meals did not ever disappoint! I loved the Kerrouet House facilities. Wonderful kitchen and home. Chef and Niall are just lovely and a perfect together. An unforgettable experience! Thrilled to have participated in the program. I will use the recipes and skills learned forever. Our group of students could not have been more perfect together. I am thinking of considering another course in the future.

    "A delicious week of French cooking"

    Poul and Niall put on a spectacular week of cooking demonstrations. I thought that learning French cooking would be daunting but Poul made it very accessible to every level of chef. The food was delicious, the accommodations were charming, and the hosts were gracious and patient. I would highly recommend a week at The French Cooking School.

    The team of chef Poal and the CEO Nial are partners in providing a welcoming, friendly environment to enjoy a French cuisine experience that is unique.

    The instruction was hands on, yet tailored to one's ability from novice to personal chef in one group. Plenty of learning and enjoying the food we prepared for both lunch and dinner was a rare treat.

    The social setting is relaxing and convivial with lively and interesting discussions around the table twice a day.

    A memorable experience, for sure, and one I plan to repeat. Thanks to both of you for a wonderful experience...

    "A perfect experience for food, wine and friends"

    I really enjoyed my week at the Kerrouet House. Paul taught me so many different skills and recipes in the kitchen. I made some great friends and had some wonderful meals and walks in the country. It is a special place and a wonderful experience for anyone who has a passion for cooking, food, wine and meeting people from all over.

    "A nice start to a culinary experience"
