My instructor was Britta and my guide was Dawson and they were both incredible! Dawson was a fantastic person to have as our guide, such an amazing cook (I mean tofu stir fry, French toast, hummus and veggie wraps, etc), very relaxed and easy going, and overall just a kind soul to be around. Britta was our fantastic yoga instructor. Her way of practice for our trip was not one I was used to and put me in the uncomfortable with some of the stillness, but even though that’s not what I wanted, it’s what I needed. She was so patient, genuine, kind, and supportive. There were challenging parts for all of us that went on this trip (whether it be physical or emotional challenges) and the attitude Britta supported each one of us with made the biggest difference in how we kept moving onward during the trip. Overall, both people made the experience unforgettable for me and left me feeling uplifted, positive, and overall happier!
