Giorgos Maltezakis is an Anthropologist that has been involved in food, the culinary culture of Crete and tourism for the past eight years. His Ph.D. on Food Consumption Patterns revealed a beautiful world of flavors and aromas that become incredible mediums of communication and dialogue. His professional career has been involved in the promotion of Experiential Tourism through Food-Based Experiences on the island of Crete. The past three years Giorgos has been working on creating experiential gastronomy events such as cooking classes, wine tastings, and olive oil tastings.
