I spent a beautiful week at the House of Yoga in Rome.
From the moment I arrived, I felt comfortable and very much at home.
Elena is a truly incredible person. She is an intuitive, encouraging, and patient yoga teacher. I felt immersed in the practice of Sivananda yoga, both the asana as well as the philosophy, and felt the calming effects very early into the week.
The vegetarian food was delicious and Elena is caring with regards making and getting things that you might like. (Thank you for the soya chocolate pots and orange juice 😉)
The location of the house is ideal. It is in a quiet and serene area outside of Rome city centre. There is a lovely short trail to walk along with beautiful trees just outside the house. It is also a 5 minute drive away from a train station which connects to Rome city and a lakeside medieval village called Bracciano, among other places.
As an extra activity you can do a bike tour of the Ancient Appian Way. This is a very special experience as you step into the rich history of Rome.
Elena is a wonderful person to be around. She is warm, very wise, funny and present. I am so grateful to have met her - anyone who does is very lucky!
Thank you Elena for all the practice, conversations and giggles.
I will miss you all ♥️ 🧘♀️ 🐶
Until next time 🌸🩷
