Soon after finishing his education in Naturopathy in 2002, Swami Ji undertook YTTC of 200 hrs, 300hrs respectively from (American certified) yoga alliance institute. His thirst for Yoga took him to 500Hr YTTC from Yoga alliance international. Swami Ji stayed in various ashrams afterward spreading his valuable knowledge and teaching of Yoga and Meditation. After teaching in various parts of the world, Swami Ji has made a Yoga Ashram.

Om Ashram is near Dal Lake 2 kilometers from the quaint international epicenter of McLeod Ganj, where the main Temple of H.H. the Dalai Lama attracts people from all over the world. Please book your flight to arrive at Gaggal Airport (DHM). Airport transfer is available at an extra cost. There are many ways to get to the yoga ashram in Dharamsala. You can come by flight, bus, train or taxi. However, Om Yoga Ashram recommends taking a flight.
The closest airport to Dal Lake Mcleodganj is Gaggal Airport. Take a flight from your country to Delhi. Then, book a domestic flight from Delhi to Dharamsala. It’s a short (45 minutes) and easy flight and will not cost you much.
Om Yoga Ashram can arrange a taxi pick up at Gaggal Airport which will cost you around 900 INR. The drive from Gaggal Airport to the yoga ashram is only 35 minutes. Om Yoga Ashram does not provide a taxi pick-up from Delhi or Dharamsala.
Regular direct bus services are available from the main cities. From Delhi, there are government and private buses departing from Kashmiri Gate (ISBT-Inter State Bus Terminal) and Majnu ka Tila (Tibetan colony). Most buses leave between 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. and arrive in Dharamsala from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. You can book your ticket in advance online or take a private bus company.
From New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), you can take the Airport Express Metro to New Delhi Railway Station. From there, you go to the Tourist Office and ask for the next train to Pathankot (Chakki Bank). It’s the nearest train station, which is approximately 85 kilometers from Dharamsala. After arriving in Pathankot, you can either take a bus which is about four hours traveling time from Dharamsala (200 INR), or a taxi which takes three hours (approximately 1500 INR).
