The hotel Arethusa is a three-star hotel, ideally located just next to Syntagma (Constitution) square and Plaka (old town of Athens) in Mitropoleos street, street of the Cathedral of Athens. The position of the hotel allows our customers easy access to the most important attractions of our city like Acropolis, Archeological museum, Cathedral, Town Hall, Temple of Zeus, Plaka and many more. On arrival you will be met by our assistant and transfer to your hotel. Welcome meeting and detailed information will be presented to you about your trip. Day 2:

Athens is a city of delicious food. Stroll to off-the-beaten-path areas in the city to discover where Athenians shop and eat in a lively neighborhood! Join a morning tour with one of our food specialists to try savory pies, fresh pastries, and aromatic local spirits and wine. In between each bite (or sip), you’ll gain insight into Greece’s fascinating food culture, the evolution of the country’s cuisine, and the healthy nature of locally produced, organic ingredients. Our guide will lead you through the bustling Athens Central Market, a historic food market unlike any other in Europe. Here, colorful and fragrant food stalls set the stage among animated food sellers, fishmongers, and butchers whelping for sales as locals bargain them down.You’ll also walk the city’s quaint spice street, browse through mom-and-pop specialty shops selling local wine, olive oil, cheese, or olives, and sample what’s behind the glass counters at family-run delicatessens. The aromas of fresh, out-of-the-oven savory pies, the tempting displays of Greek pastries, and sips of Greece’s strong and tasteful spirits round out the food tour.

Day 3:

Free morning to visit Athens wanders! At evening learn How to Cook Greek Food

Discover Greek culture through its delicious food. The best way to do so is by graduating from a hands-on cooking class. During this experience, you'll learn how to cook traditional Greek dishes with a small group of fellow food lovers. Along the way, with the guidance of your experienced instructor, you'll become familiar with the ingredients and simple techniques that are the foundation of Greek cooking. Prepare and Enjoy a Delicious Greek Dinner

With a small group, you’ll work together to prepare a typical Greek Sunday dinner. At the end of the lesson, you will be given all the easy-to-follow recipes to accompany the memories of this experience, and so that you can host your own Greek dinner party back home!

The dinner typically includes the preparation of 3 to 4 starters, Greek salad, main dish and dessert. Menus vary according to season as well as the fresh products and meat available at the local market. At the end of the lesson you will enjoy the dishes with a majestic view of the Acropolis.

Day 4:

Airport transfer. During this day, you will meet the tour's assistant and then be transferred back to the airport.
