For this tour, accommodation will be provided either at Phrao Boutique Hotel or Lan Khun Resort.
Program
Day 1
Phrao Outdoor will pick you up at your hotel / accommodation. You ride along trails in a huge teak forest and on tarmac to the Phrao Valley. There, you turn on dual tracks along the narrow valleys of the Khun Tan Mountains. You pass through secluded villages, coffee and tea plantations before you climb up to 1500 msl and ride along a stunning ridge road that ends at Ban Khun Jae. The last 20 kilometers today is a swing down along 160 curves on a paved road to Phrao where you will stay for the night.
Day 2
Visit a hidden hill tribe village before you ride along trails in hilly farmland to the Buatong Waterfalls. You can cool down in the pools before you disappear into the dense teak forests and fly along narrow trails and challenging singletracks back to the Mae Kuang Dam and back home.
