Nestled within the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Ruxton Farm is a rustic 17th-century farmhouse with homely rooms, 14 acres of gardens, and the River Wye on its doorstep.

You will be served delicious and nutritious meals daily, a welcome drink, as well as water and a selection of herbal teas served throughout the day included in the price.

Ayurveda places high importance on nutrition as it can be the main cause for disease, but can also act as the cure! Most foods are actually considered medicine in Ayurveda, which encourages even more care with diet. Our menu was designed by our doctors following the Ayurveda recommendations on timings of meals, as well as portion sizes and how to prepare each dish in order to make it digestible and pacifying of all doshas. The food we serve is freshly prepared on-site in our farm kitchen, and combines locally produced British ingredients with some of our beloved recipes.

All meals are vegetarian and free from gluten, refined sugar, and preservatives and designed to balance the doshas. How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book our flight to arrive at Bristol Airport (BRS), Birmingham Airport (BHX), or Cardiff Airport (CWL). If you are driving, Plantation Villa will let you know the exact address and directions once you have made your booking. There is parking available on site. While they does not offer an airport transfer service, they are more than happy to recommend you a local taxi company. Please try to share car or use public transport if possible to respect the peacefulness of the environment.

Arrival by train

The closest train stations are Hereford (20 minutes drive away) and Gloucester (40 minutes drive away). NOTE: If you are going to take a taxi, Plantation Villa highly recommend you book it in advance to avoid waiting around as they are not always available at the station.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 16% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
