Enjoy great wine, combined with some great food. Meet passionate wine producers and chefs. You just need to come and Podere le Olle will prepare everything else for you. Indulge in an authentic Italy experience, enjoy Italy at its best!
During this holiday, you will be staying in Agriturismo Podere le Olle. The establishment consists of two old stone houses, which were sympathetically restored, preserving many of the original features. Organic farming is practiced there and this is reflected in the environmentally friendly methods and materials deployed in the running of the agriturismo.
Breakfast and dinner are served in the garden or, when the weather is not conducive for al fresco meals, on the ground floor of the main house. There, the former cattle stable has been restored and transformed into a large living space with vaulted ceilings and an open fireplace.
Connected to the dining room, the spacious and well-equipped kitchen has a large open hearth and provides the venue for classes in traditional Umbrian cuisine. In the room next door, their own olive oil and a selection of local products are for sale.
An old oven, now once again fully functional, is next to the farmhouse. Furthermore, at the back of the house, there are two old stone baths, once used for hand-washing linen. A track winds through the fields of the property, ideal for a brisk morning walk, and last but not least, the pool with views across the valleys is the ideal place to relax.
The farm offers mainly a bed and breakfast accommodation. The accommodation takes place in a stone house, both welcoming and comfortable. They host a total of nine rooms sharing a rather big garden, so even in full season, there is plenty of room for all the guests.
All rooms are spacious and bright, they are tastefully furnished with great attention to detail. Five rooms are based on the ground floor and have an independent entrance through the garden, while four are on the first floor offering a lovely view over the countryside.
Bed linen and bath towels are chosen in natural cotton. Beach towels can be provided with a small supplement. Each room is provided with a private en-suite bathroom. All of the bathrooms have a shower and a hairdryer. Basic toiletries are provided, for further needs, do not hesitate to ask.
Furthermore, they have no air conditioning, as normally the night breeze and a fan are enough to enable good sleep. Wi-Fi is offered free of charge at the reception or in the dining room, the signal is also strong in the garden. In the bedrooms, there is no Wi-Fi connection and television. There is a wonderful pool with 180-degree views across the valley, making this the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday in the Umbrian countryside.
