On this tour, you will learn and discover the local food. The cooking class will take place at the kitchen of agriturismo Poggio del Gallo, where chef Davide works. He will teach you the modern and traditional Sicilian and Italian cuisine. Every day you will go with Davide for food shopping and meeting local producers. Afterwards, you will be back to kitchen for class. At dinner you will taste the dishes you prepared during the day.

You will stay for all eight days at agriturismo Poggio del Gallo. It is an ideal place for those who like to live in the countryside in the open air thanks to the olive grove that surrounds the structure and for those who love animals, especially dogs.
You will have a private room with a double bed, and a private bathroom with a big shower. There are only two rooms, the Almond and the South, to ensure exclusivity and privacy for the guests.

Instructors
Davide Di Corato
Davide Di Corato, from Turin, professional journalist, began his journalistic activity as a freelancer in the early 1980s, specializing in food and wine. After the first experiences as an inspector and as a secret customer for some gastronomic guides, he started collaborations with fixed sections with numerous newspapers in the sector. He wrote many books, then left the desk for cooking. From 2013 to 2016, he created the Flying Ceff tours, where for each year he cooks in 25 Italian restaurants like a special guest. Now, he is associated with Federazione Italiana Professional Personal Chef.
Location
Chiaramonte Gulfi is a small village in the Iblei Mountains, near Ragusa Ibla (UNESCO patrimony). The place is among the most famous extra virgin olive oil regions in the world. It is famous also for the meat pork, specially for salsiccia.
Fully immersed in the Barocco Region, you will be staying in a strategic place from which to reach Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Scicli, Palazzolo Acreide, Pantalica, Caltagirone and all of Montalbano's places, from Punta Secca to Donnalucata.
If you like to trek, you can follow the many paths on the Iblei Mountain.
