Between May to October, depending on the availability, Punchcamp-spain accommodates their guests in their camp accommodation where they provide their guests with homemade organic and healthy half board meals and drinks. All guests will be provided with private single rooms as a single rate and shared rooms in a twin room as a shared rate, a shared living room and shared kitchen.

From November to April the guests will be provided with hotel accommodation in the beautiful town of Albir close to Altea and the beach.

Program

The training programs are designed by the professional coach Shahab who trains many world and European champions. You, as a beginner, intermediate and advanced in Muay Thai, have the opportunity to join his seven-day professional training to get fit or fitter and improve your skills. The training schedule is suitable for all level (beginners, intermediate and advanced).

The sample schedule of days and time can vary (depending on the group level and the season).

Day 1

  • Arrival and check in
  • 14:00 Free time on the beach
  • 17:00 Training in the gym as a heavy bag, hand speed, special strength and conditioning in Muay Thai (level: hard)
  • 20:00 local Excursion to Altea casco antiguo

Day 2

  • 10:00 Beach training in Calpe, boxing footwork drills on the sand, aerobic and anaerobic endurance, special pad work in the see (level: hard)
  • 15:00 Excursion to Algar waterfalls and swimming in the waterfalls
  • 19:00 Gym workout as coordination and balance and partner training (level: medium)

Day 3

  • 10:00 Altitude training in a 12.000 square-meter Muay Thai camp in the mountains as circuit training and reduction overall body fat program (level: challenging)
  • 15:00 Excursion to the castle of Guadalest
  • 19:00 Jogging on the beach of Altea and tactical movements (level: light)

Day 4

  • 10:00 Mountain hiking in Ifach of Calpe (2-3 hours) shadowboxing, mental training (level: medium)
  • 19:00 Gym: sparring, heavy bag work and interval followed by recovery time in the swimming pool and sauna (level: medium)

Day 5

  • 10:00 Beach training in Benidorm Poniente as footwork, agility (level: hard)
  • 15:00 Excursion: city sightseeing Benidorm
  • 19:00 Gym: explosive heavy pad work (level: normal) following by swimming in the gym ant recovery time in jacuzzi and sauna

Day 6

  • 10:00 Training in the camp in the mountains as altitude training: skipping day, tactical movements in the ring and improvement of efficiently use of oxygen in Muay Thai (level: light)
  • 14:00 recovery time on the beach
  • 17:00 Beach training in Villajoyosa: partner training and combinations on the sand, special techniques, and movement for the fight (level: challenging)

Day 7

  • 10:00 Gym: Sparring day (optional if required: depending on your level)
  • 14:00 National park visit
  • 16:00 Recovery time
  • 19:00 Gym: general conditioning exercises and reaction exercises (challenging)

Included excursions

The price includes excursions like sightseeing to the national park of Albir, visit the old town of Altea, beach of Calp or Villa joyosa, and the castle of Guadalest. Depending on the season, it also includes waterfall visits of Algar and mountain hiking.

The camp will take place in a beautiful seaside town between Guadalest and Altea.

Food

Half board meals are included in the price. The meal is based on the Mediterranean and healthy cuisine such as fresh fish and meat, homemade organic food from their own farm with fresh detoxing juices organic fruits and snacks. Vegetarian, vegan, and raw vegan food is also available if required.

In the low season from November to April the guest will be provided with half board meals in the hotel accommodation.

After each session in the gym, Punchcamp-spain provides guests with a visit to their spa which includes swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Alicante-Elche Airport (ALC). Punchcamp-spain will organise the airport shuttle from and to the airport Alicante or the center of Alicante (valued at 20 EUR, included in the package price).

Punchcamp-spain provides guests with training on arrival and departure day. They recommend to arrive as soon as possible and leave as late as possible. In case of arriving late, you will recover the session during the week.

You have the option to arrive sooner and organize your own accommodation in Alicante center, Punchcamp-spain will organize your shuttle from Alicante center to the camp (valued at 20 EUR included in the package price).

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 16.94% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.

In the high season between April to September, Punchcamp-spain  is visited weekly from people around the world. Please notice that in July and August, they are always overbooked and out of rooms, so they have to make a combination of their camp accommodation and the surrounding hotels.

Depending on availability, you can join the camp and start on any day in the week. If your arrival time should be later, dont worry, the lost training session will be recovered during the week.
