Overview
The diagnosis of cancer or serious illness profoundly impacts people's lives, as do vaccine injuries, long-term COVID-19, and other chronic health problems. Quest for Life is a residential program designed for people seeking ways to actively contribute to their healing and make meaning of this challenging experience. The program explores avenues of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing and encourages participants to find their own best answers. Partners and loved ones are encouraged to attend and some focused sessions are conducted specifically for them.
Participants are well cared for during the program and can lie down for much of the program. There are also ample rest breaks, and dietary needs are also catered for.
The role of intuition in healing, taking charge of your thoughts and feelings, and practical strategies to manage aspects of illness are covered as well as dietary guidelines and meditation. Program content is always tailored to participants and addresses practical aspects of living well with illness and creating an environment for healing.
The residential programs are conducted at the Quest for Life Centre in Bundanoon in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW. Staying on-site allows you to immerse yourself in the program and its surrounds, focus on your life without distraction, and learn valuable life skills and strategies for healing and peace.
Content
Content is tailored to participants’ needs and addresses practical aspects of living well with challenging circumstances and instruction on how to create an environment for healing. The program provides evidence-based approaches to health and well-being.
Your day starts at 07:30 with a gentle morning stretch and meditation and finishes with an evening activity that ensures you get plenty of sleep. There is a long lunch break so you can rest, read, have a counseling or massage appointment, or go for a walk in the beautiful gardens.
