Morning practice: Movement, stillness and connection
Each day begins with a gentle 45-minute session of yoga, meditation, and somatic exploration—held on the open-air yoga deck, nestled amongst ancient olive trees and kissed by the morning sun.
These slow, intentional practices are designed specifically for birthing women, supporting your changing body with mindful movement, breathwork, and grounding techniques that invite deep connection to self and baby. Expect nourishing postures, intuitive flow, and moments of stillness that allow you to listen inward and settle into your own unique rhythm.
This isn’t about performance or pushing—it’s about presence. About tuning into what feels good, what feels true, and honoring the sacred space you’re holding.
Sound healing
Sound bath meditation is the practice of clearing the mind and deepening relaxation using live sound and music. You'll be lying down (or seated if you prefer) with the option of using cushions, blankets and eye masks to enhance your relaxed state. There is nothing for you to do except rest.
Sound healing is woven through the retreat as a gentle, powerful tool for restoration, release, and connection. Through crystal bowls, chimes, and grounding instruments, Becca creates immersive soundscapes that invite you to soften, surrender, and be deeply held.
For pregnant people, sound healing offers profound benefits—it calms the nervous system, supports better sleep, eases physical tension, and encourages a deeper bond with your baby. The vibrations can be felt not just by you, but by the baby growing within you, offering a shared moment of peace and presence.
Birth preparation
On three of the mornings, you’ll join Myriam for birth preparation workshops, where she’ll be covering much of the following:

Evenings of expression
As the sun begins to dip behind the olive trees, the evenings at Held Within invite you to slow down, tune in, and be held in community. Each night offers a different experience by Morgana—from birthing dance to self-massage rituals to intimate sharing circles—designed to help you feel more at home in your body and more connected to your journey.
These workshops are gentle yet empowering, blending movement, touch, and storytelling in ways that honor your unique path into motherhood.
Afterwards, you’re free to curl up with a book, journal beneath the stars, or simply soak in the stillness of the Mallorcan night. There’s no rush—just spacious, soulful time to be with yourself and others, exactly as you are.
Leisure time
Each day unfolds with pockets of stillness—space for self, connection, or simply the joy of doing nothing. Bring along your journal and your favorite book to relax by one of the two pools with.
Or take out one of the bicycles (helmets provided) for the 6 km ride to the local beach, the stunning Es Trenc. It’s a beautiful ride, passing horses and the occasional peacock en-route.
And if you really want to get active, they have recommended hikes, bike routes, boat hires…you name it. They got you.
Relax and recharge during ample leisure time, enjoying the serene surroundings, connecting with fellow participants, or indulging in self-care activities. Whether you choose to lounge by the pool, explore nature trails, or savor quiet moments of reflection, this is your time to unwind.
