Program

What you'll be doing

  • Yoga - Grounded
  • Meditation - Inspired
  • Nature - Connected
  • Music - Expressed

You will practice daily yoga, meditation, and pranayama while integrating permaculture and regenerative concepts to connect with your inner landscape while exploring the landscape around you. Workshops and activities will include hiking/walking meditation, cold water immersion, breathwork, and rituals to build habits of reciprocity with the elements and Mother Earth. When you recognize that you are nature and the sacred elements live within you, it becomes instinctive to treat yourself, the Earth, and all around you as sacred. Going o a retreat is an opportunity to step back and temporarily withdraw from your daily routines, commitments, and obligations.

ResInnate Yoga & Permaculture invites you to drop deeper into yourself and your retreat experience by observing a digital detox and silent mornings. This retreat is an opportunity to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with the nature within and around you before reentering daily life with new tools, perspectives, and inspiration. They will be offering yoga classes in styles that will include alignment-based Hatha, Vinyasa flow, and Yin.

Yoga classes will be beginner or intermediate level and may be challenging at times but accessible for all levels. Some experience with yoga is recommended. You will be at a higher elevation, which will make some physical activities more strenuous. Moderate hiking and physical abilities are recommended for hiking and other excursions. If you are unsure about participating in some of the activities, you can talk to the facilitators and stay at the retreat location if needed.

Gifting At The End of the Program

One key principle of the gift economy is that you cannot know the true value of what you have received until after you have received it. As such, there will be an opportunity at the end of the program to offer a gift to the facilitators in exchange for organizing and facilitating the experience. Any additional amount that feels reflective of the value you received from the experience and is accessible to your current financial circumstances is appropriate. If paying for just the costs of the retreat is appropriate to your financial situation, that is welcomed as well. These gifts will allow ResInnate Yoga & Permaculture to continue to offer and expand these retreats, and anything that is given is received in deep gratitude.

Included excursions

You will be going on a half-day hike nearby where you can practice yoga, swim, and relax in nature.
