Retreat in Himalayas can present you with a number of flexible programs that can in turn help you enhance your focus and concentration. This can in turn help you live in the moment and attain greater levels of happiness in your day to day life. Practicing yoga and meditation with them can also help you achieve enhanced soul satisfaction and tranquility.

Itinerary

Day 1: Rishikesh

On the first day, at 6:00 to 7:00 a.m., a detoxification and breathing practice is planned, then at 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. an asanas class will take place. At 9:00 a.m. you will have breakfast. After breakfast, students will be taken for a walking tour through Rishikesh local market where they can see the colorful Indian culture, delicious Indian food, Indian spices, Indian clothes, ashrams, temples, and much more.

You will have lunch in an ashram, then at 5:30 p.m. all students will attend a world class Ganga ceremony, in Parmarth Neeketan, in Rishikesh. Dinner is at 7:00 p.m.

Day 2: Rishikesh - Auli (2450 meters, drive for 280 kilometers / eight to nine hours)

On the second day, you will be transferred from Rishikesh to Auli. Savor the charming drive through the holy town of Rishikesh and Panchprayags, Deoprayag, Rudraparayag, Karnprayag, and Nandprayag. The route takes you along Ganges and Alaknanda. Reach the lodge in the evening and check-in.

Take in the great views of Alaknanda Valley and the stunning Himalayan snow-clad peaks. If time permits it, you can walk through the apple orchards or unwind at the lodge itself. Overnight will be spent at the lodge. Your Auli and Gurson snow trek begins tomorrow.

Day 3: Auli - Parsari (3000 meters) - ITBP - Auli (trek for four to five hours)

After your early morning yoga class at 7:00 a.m., dig into breakfast at the lodge and saunter off for a trek to the charming Parsari village and ITBP. Proceed with the trek and reach Auli sometime during the afternoon.

Along the way, lap up great sights of Himalayan giants that comprise Nanda Devi (India’s second highest peak), ski slopes of Auli, Joshimath town, and the Alaknanda Valley with the mesmerizing Alaknanda River making its way through it. In the evening, simply unwind at the lodge. After your evening meditation class at 6:30 p.m., have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Auli - Gurson Meadows (3350 meters) - Auli (trek for five to six hours)

You will have an early morning yoga class at 7:00 a.m. On this refreshing day, drive to Auli where the fun of cable car awaits. The rope way opens up great sights and experiences of the place. Reach the top most level through the cable car from where you commence your trek to Gurson Top.

Delight in making your way along snow covered meadows with the great Himalayas ahead of you. Reach Gurson Top, a vantage point where you can feast your eyes on the great Nanda Devi. Enjoy some moments at this charming spot and head back towards the lodge sometime in the afternoon. Relax once you reach the lodge. After your evening meditation class at 6:30 p.m., have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Auli - Dhak Village - Khulara - Dhak Village - Auli (trek for seven to eight hours)

You will have an early morning yoga class at 7:00 a.m. Indulge in breakfast and drive to Dhak village. Once there, trek towards Khulara. The trail is a fetching one that will take you to charming Himalayan settlements. Pass beyond the village of Karchi and arrive at the meadows above the village. In the afternoon, trek back to Dhak village and hop on to your vehicle. Unravel the hot springs at Tapovan and later drive back to the lodge. After your evening meditation class at 6:30 p.m., have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Auli - Rishikesh (drive for 250 kilometers / seven to eight hours)

Between 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. you will have a yoga class. At 8:30 a.m. you will have breakfast, then drive back to the ashram after some rest. At 8:00 p.m. there will be a group dinner and celebration at the ashram, on the successful completion of the Himalayan retreat.

Day 7: Rishikesh

Today you will check out.
