Day 1: Marseilles - Les Saintes Maries de la Mer - Montpellier (The Camargue)
Joël, your guide, will welcome you at the airport of Marseille Provence and will take you to the rental point to pick-up your rental motorbike. No mountain pass, no sharp turns in the Camargue but tremendous landscapes, cities of character and above all a timeless atmosphere, out of the world, pure escapism. When heaven and earth merge, happiness is at the end of the road. Overnight close to Béziers.
Day 2: Montpellier - Prades - Andorra (The Catalan Roussillon)
South of Roussillon is still France but already Catalonia. Both close to the sea and to the Pyrenean summits, the region is rich in traditions. The mountain will make you ecstatic! Overnight in Andorra.
Day 3: Andorra - pass of Tourmalet - Tarbes (Pyrenean passes road)
Béarn and Bigorre own the most beautiful passes of the Pyrénées: Tourmalet, Soulor, Aspin, Aubisque. There are so many mythical peaks of the Tour de France that you will be looking forward to face! Extreme ride in perspective. Overnight close to Tarbes.
Day 4: Tarbes - Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port - Biarritz (The Basque Country)
Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, one foot in Spain and the other in France, the Basque Country has many facets: mountain, sea, countryside, and city. But it is definitely the mountain part with its passes and turns that will delight you for a whole day. Overnight close to Biarritz.
Day 5: Biarritz - Auch - Montauban (The Gascony)
It is a road trip in the country of Armagnac, foie gras and musketeers such as pictured by Alexandre Dumas. Go for a ride to discover the bastides of the Gers, fortified villages of the Middle Ages. Overnight close to Montauban.
Day 6: Montauban - Villefranche de Rouergue - Millau (Gorges of Aveyron)
Along the course of the Aveyron river and especially in the region of the Gorges, some of the most beautiful villages of France rise in unique sites and landscapes. Add to that winding roads, great gastronomy, you are close to the dream ride! Overnight close to Millau.
Day 7: Millau - Alès - Nyons (The Cevennes)
With their chaotic rocks collection on drylands, their schist and sandstone houses clinging to the cliffs, their forests as far as the eye can see and their deep canyons, the roads of the Cevennes will be the occasion to discover both an extreme nature and a rich cultural heritage. Overnight in Marseille Airport.
Day 8: Nyons - La Chapelle en Vercors - Grenoble (The Gorges of Vercors)
You will discover the Vercors, the largest natural park in the Northern Alps, through its narrow gorges and spectacular cliffs. Prepare to be blown away! Overnight in Grenoble.
Day 9: Grenoble - Aix les Bains - La Clusaz (Lakes of Savoy)
With a myriad of turns and breathtaking landscapes, this ride will offer you superb views of the two largest lakes in this region: Lake Annecy and Lake Geneva. Overnight in La Clusaz.
Day 10: La Clusaz - Megève - Bourg Saint Maurice (Around the Mont Blanc)
France, Switzerland, Italy, it will be a European ride around the sacrosanct Mont Blanc. From Chamonix to the Grand-Saint-Bernard pass, the beginning of the road of the Grand Alps is yours! Overnight in Bourg St. Maurice.
Day 11: Bourg-Saint-Maurice - Modane - Briançon (Grand Alps road - part 1)
You will be taken up into the sky (if the clear weather is on time) during this session with landscapes increasingly grandiose; Iseran pass, Telegraph pass, and Galibier pass. Overnight in Briancon.
Day 12: Briançon - Barcelonnette - Draguignan (Grand Alps road - part 2)
Izoard Pass, Vars Pass, Cayolle Pass, the end of the road of the Southern Alps will never be monotonous. From peaks to peaks, you will eat up the miles and cross on the road birds of prey, marmots, and muflets. Overnight close to Draguignan.
Day 13: Draguignan - Gap (The Route Napoléon)
The wildest part of this mythical route will transport you, from collars to mountain passes, to the splendid Lake of Serre-Ponçon. The mountain will overcome you! Overnight in Gap.
Day 14: Gap - Sault - Marseilles (The Devoluy)
Between the Ecrins National Park and the Vercors range, the Devoluy region will seduce you with its many circuses and natural amphitheaters. You will also discover the new riding sensations on the narrow roads of the rocky passes (those small roads between the cliffs). Overnight close to Marseille Airport.
