Program
Day 1: Head to the Alpilles
Zabel will welcome you at Marseille Provence Airport (MRS) and will take you to Road2Luxe’s rental point to pick up your rental motorcycle. Small warm-up ride and night in Mouriès in the heart of the Alpilles.
Day 2: The Camargue
No mountain pass, no sharp turns in the Camargue but tremendous landscapes, cities of character, and especially a general atmosphere, a timeless atmosphere, out of the world, pure escapism. When heaven and earth merge, happiness is at the end of the road. Night in Mouriès.
Day 3: The Baux de Provence
Scents of thyme, lavender, and rosemary, the small mountain formations of the Alpilles will captivate you with its fragrances and dazzle you with its bright colors. An initiatory journey through the scrubland and olive trees that will end with a visit to one of the most beautiful villages in France: Les Baux de Provence. Night in Mouriès.
Day 4: The Mont Ventoux
It will take only a very clear sky to let you see from the top of Mont Ventoux to Marseilles on one side and to the Mont Blanc on the other side. An exceptional panorama and many turns in laces to reach it. Guaranteed pleasure! Night in Mouriès.
Day 5: The Luberon
Between the Alps and the Mediterranean, the Luberon will offer you its bright landscapes and the spectacle of its many hilltop villages linked together by pretty, uncrowded country roads. Night in Manosque.
Day 6: The Gorges du Verdon
Another beautiful day ride punctuated by the turns and breathtaking landscapes of the Gorges du Verdon. From Castellane to Lake St. Croix, it is a guaranteed pleasure. Night in Draguignan.
Day 7: The Esterel and Saint-Tropez
Between the Mediterranean Sea and Draguignan, the Maures and the Esterel are two small mountains where the ride is beautiful and peaceful, in contrast with the lively coast of the city of the stars: Saint-Tropez. Night close to Marseille Provence Airport (MRS).
Day 8: Marseilles - boat to Corsica - Bastia
Small ride by the sea to Marseilles where the boat will take you for a night crossing to Bastia.
Day 9: Cap Corse
The ride will start along the coast of Cap Corse. The rugged shoreline will disclose the secret of hidden beaches in the depths of its coves. The terrain often descends abruptly into the sea. The route that goes around Le Cap, from Bastia to Saint-Florent, offers a panorama of unforgettable ridges. Night in Corte.
Day 10: Agriates Desert and Balagne
Departure to Calvi via the Agriates Desert, a mineral landscape covered in spring by a marquis of captivating flowers, then direction to the Col de la Croix by some of the most beautiful turns of Europe. Amazing views of the gulfs of Girolata, Porto, and Scandola. Night in Corte.
Day 11: Castagniccia
The landscapes of Haute-Corse, from Ponte Leccia to Bastia via Murato, will constantly seduce you. Enjoy a trip to the “chestnut grove”, one of the least touristic areas of the island with small villages rich of history. Night in Corte.
Day 12: Aiguilles de Bavella
Head to the seafront to Solenzara via the passes of Inzecca and Strette with its breathtaking gorges and then up to the not-to-be-missed needles of Bavella to complete this beautiful ride to Bonifacio. Night close to Bonifacio.
Day 13: Head west
During this last day of ride in Corsica, you will cross the Cape of Roccapina, Sartène and the coastal road along the beautiful bay of Ajaccio. Ride on the roads with never-ending turns! Night aboard the boat Ajaccio - Marseille.
Day 14: the “Route des Crêtes”
A ride in the south of France necessarily ends by the “route des Crêtes” between Cassis and the Ciotat; the turns will take you to the village of Le Castellet. Returning the bike at the end of the day will be a difficult time after such intense moments. Night close to Marseille Provence Airport (MRS).
