On your way to Nong Khiaw' nothern idyll, visit the Pak Ou cave where kings over time have placed 1,000 statues of Buddha. Then enjoy a traditional lunch on the Mekong riverside.
After a day’s scenic and relaxing ride amongst the mountains of northern Laos, embark on a sunset cruise on the Nam Ou river before dinner by the pool at the Maison de Nong Khiaw, your home for the night.
A scenic winding road will take you to Nam Kat Yolapa, an award-winning eco-tourism destination set in a lush rainforest in the Phou Hipho Provincial Protected Area in Oudomxay province. The resort offers a variety of activities, including hiking, swimming, ziplining, and visiting the Nam Kat waterfall.
The next day’s ride to Pakbeng is a scenic 150-kilometer journey that takes you through the mountains of Oudomxay province, surrounded by stunning scenery, with rolling hills, lush forests, and cascading waterfalls.
Along the way, you will pass through several small villages where you can get a glimpse of local life. You may also see some of the ethnic minority groups that live in the area, such as the Hmong, Khmu, and Lu.
In Pakbeng, your hotel awaits you with a swimming pool, overlooking the majestic Mekong River.
The last day’s ride will take you through the once-inaccessible and jaw-breaking beauty of ancient mountain ridges that connect the Lanna kingdom capital of Chiang Mai in Thailand to the Lan Xang Kingdom capital of Luang Prabang.
To close the tour, dine under the stars at Manda de Laos in Luang Prabang, surrounded by a UNESCO classified lily pond. Immerse in a tropical ambiance and discover the Laotian family cuisine
