Munay Sonqo maintains an appreciation for the balance and purity of nature. The center is eco-friendly, made from local materials, and offers lush flower gardens, fruit trees, hummingbirds, majestic rocks, cleansing waterfalls, hammocks, delicious vegetarian cuisine, and stunning views of the Apus (sacred mountains) and surrounding lands.

Its name translates as ‘loving heart’ in Quechua. Sacred Paths Yoga has been hosting their programs at Munay Sonqo for eight years since they first opened their doors in the village of Arin, Sacred Valley, Peru. The space is a secluded oasis and ideal for your own spiritual growth. There is a private yoga maloka (temple) for classes and ceremonies.

The rooms are chakra-themed and each room offers a reflection of the Peruvian culture surrounded by beautiful gardens. The meals are sourced from locally-grown produce on this abundant land, prepared lovingly with the freshest ingredients. The experience at Munay Sonqo offers a deep connection to nature and the spirit of Peru.

Program

Sacred Paths Yoga invite you to journey with them to the sacred highlands of Peru to embark upon this life-enhancing experience.

This soul journey is curated with enriching cultural activities, healing ceremonies, engaging discussion, thought-provoking personal growth activities, and daily practice to integrate your experiences. This is a powerful program conducted in an intentional and safe environment to do deep healing work. You will flow through the transformative levels of the Native American Medicine Wheel, dive deep into the practice of yoga, and experience ancient shamanic traditions.

Each day begins with intention setting, meditation, pranayama, and yoga asana as a practice to cultivate deep inner connections and open to the experiences of the day. Organic locally-grown vegetarian meals will be served throughout to help cleanse and purify the body from the inside out.

The day will flow into different activities, ceremonies, or cultural excursions that coincide with the Peruvian Medicine Wheel as guide for transformation. Allow the breathtaking beauty of Peru’s Sacred Valley to guide you on your path of healing and self-realization.
