Sagrada's accommodations are in their architecturally designed modern farmhouse retreat. The newly constructed home is designed by the co-owner and architect Scott Currie. It has a contemporary, rustic, country aesthetic that offers guests a special place to reflect on peace, awareness, and rejuvenation in the ranch's majestic and natural landscape.
Communal room
Communal room is a shared accommodation in the sunny mountain vista room. A large outside patio with gorgeous views is the ideal space for journaling, chatting with new friends, or meditating on all of Sagrada's nature sounds. The communal room has a sitting area, plenty of cubby spaces for your clothes, toiletries, and yoga gear, and a large bathroom. Bathrooms are cleaned daily, and fresh towels are always provided. Sagrada uses environmentally friendly laundry detergent and sun-dry whenever possible.
Private room
Private rooms have a queen-sized bed with comfy linens and open onto a spacious patio with gorgeous ranch views. Shared bathrooms are across the hall and are accented with Italian tiles, reclaimed barn wood from Sagrada's property, and modern waterfall showers. Similarly, bathrooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels are always provided.
Program
Wake to the beauty of birdsong and mist rising off grapevines. Meditate, journal, or take in the pristine, natural countryside. After a light breakfast, you will practice yoga to stretch, energize, and awaken the body; pranayama to open channels for breath and energy flow, and meditation to sensitize the intuitive mind. At the end of class, you will focus on writing exercises to inspire ideas, clarify existing ones, and refine expression.
This retreat is designed to give you time and space to enjoy yoga and allow your creative juices to flow. Evenings include organic meals lovingly prepared by Scott and Eva; blue-hour walks; hot-tub soaks; and quiet reflection under the stars.

Leslie St. John
Leslie is a poet, yogi, and teacher living in California who seeks to inspire creative expression, physical health, and more self-love. She holds an MFA in poetry from Purdue University. Her poems and creative nonfiction have appeared in Apercus Quarterly, Cimarron Review, Crab Orchard Review, Florida Review, Indiana Review, Linebreak, Oxford American, Rebelle Society, Teach.Yoga, and Verse Daily. She is the creator of Prose and Poses, a practice of yoga and writing to open creative channels. A 500-hour RYT, she has studied with Tias Little, Noah Maze, and Rocky Heron; with Yogamaze.

Take relaxing strolls to breathtaking vistas or bring your water bottle and plan on a challenging hike up and down rolling hills and through untouched canyons. Manzanita trees, gigantic oaks, sacred mountain sage, an abundance of California poppies, wild turkeys, and exotic birds, will be some of the natural beauty you experience on your journey. You are recommended to take the Rinconada hiking trail, which is 5 minutes from Sagrada, or the Bishops Peak trail, which is 15 minutes from Sagrada.
Horseback riding
For all you cowgirls and cowboys - put on your boots and saddle up. Enjoy a guided excursion on well-trained horses through breathtaking California terrain, taking in unspoiled nature and a plethora of wildlife. Horseback riding can be arranged for an additional fee.
In Shangri-La Ranch, 5 minutes from Sagrada, you can enjoy horseback riding into some of the most beautiful country on the Central Coast. Ride through sun-dappled forests, pristine meadows, and ancient rock formations.
You can be a part of nature and experience wildlife in this "remote paradise on earth". Some of the wildlife that has been seen on and near Shangri-La Ranch are deer, bears, cougars, bald eagles, and all kinds of beautiful birds - just to name a few.
Qi Gong
Eva prescribes specific Qi Gong exercises that will address your individual health needs. Correct posture while doing exercises, breathing techniques, and visualization will be emphasized. You will leave feeling deeply grounded, and with Qi Gong exercises you can take home. Each session costs 150 USD for one acupuncture treatment and Qi Gong techniques.
Taoist health and nutritional counseling
Health and wellness consultation from a traditional Chinese medicine perspective. Tongue and pulse diagnosis, herbal, dietary, and lifestyle recommendations. Consultation is available at 150 USD per hour.
