The private accommodation offers guests a secluded, distraction-free, and comfortable experience. The price listed is for a single or double ensuite bedroom all to yourself. Each bedroom has very different characteristics, which makes each totally unique. Comfortable bedrooms, delicious homecooked food, and warm hospitality combine to make it the perfect place to relax and recharge.
The retreat takes place within five acres of grounds which incorporate ponds, woods, open spaces, and intimate gardens with secluded corners. Complete with an on-site sauna, the venue has it all, whether you wish to enjoy a countryside walk, contemplate, relax in nature, or simply chat, the grounds can accommodate your perfect retreat. Picnic tables and parasols identify pleasant corners for those who want to meet, contemplate or discuss outside. The venue has ample free parking available for guests.
The retreat will consist of a number of inspiring workshops and guided meditations inspired by Buddhist psychology, complimented by laid-back Vinyasa yoga in the morning and countryside walks in the afternoon. You will be guided in an array of deeply relaxing meditations that allow you to completely unwind and relax and let go of any stress and tension you are holding.
Workshops will explore the inner causes of stress, anxiety, and provide you with tips and innovative ways to calm and de-stress at home. Samadhi Retreats & Meditation is sure that you will leave feeling refreshed, nourished, and stress-free with new tools to reduce your stress and anxiety and to feel more positive and peaceful. Arrival on Friday is from 4:00 p.m., and the retreat will begin just before 6:00 p.m. with a welcome session and guided meditation and dinner will be at 7:00 p.m. You are free to go home after afternoon tea on Sunday, from approximately 3:30 p.m. onwards. You will be provided with a schedule on arrival. During your free time, you can relax, read, or take a walk in the lovely countryside as you wish.

David is an international Buddhist meditation teacher and retreat leader. He will lead this weekend retreat, run the workshops and guided meditations, and be on hand as a mentor to support you. He is an experienced Buddhist contemplative and meditation guide who has studied and taught internationally for several years. He is the co-founder of Samadhi and a qualified mindfulness teacher, mental health first aider, and an active member of the Association for Spiritual Integrity. His teaching style is clear and practical, and his warm and humorous approach makes him a popular mindfulness teacher.
Manuel is an accredited yoga teacher and retreat coordinator. Manu is the retreat coordinator and accredited yoga teacher. He will guide your morning Vinyasa yoga sessions and alongside the venue hosts, will be around to assist you during your retreat and make sure you have a wonderful experience. He is the co-founder of Samadhi and a mental health first aider. Manu’s laid-back approach and kind heart have a warming and inspiring impact on the retreatants and he is much loved by all.
Strategically located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, this retreat is located less than a two-hour drive from Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, and Newcastle with good train access from the rest of the UK. Feel your cares fall away and the world slow down as you leave behind the motorways and cities. At the end of your journey, you are on a single-track road with only sheep for the company until you arrive at this relaxing oasis. In the natural environment of Malham Moor, this retreat center will be entirely exclusive to your group.

Right from the door, you are immersed in the unspoiled upland landscape of the Yorkshire Dales, well away from the madding crowds. Just to step outside is to be in the hills. The air is clean and pure.
There is no rumble of traffic or light pollution. This authentic living landscape assures you peace, seclusion, and space to make the very best of precious time. Wild rolling hills invite exploration. In the folds of the landscape, small communities have their villages, established in ancient times. Between is space to wander, reflect and regenerate. History is written on the landscape.
During this retreat, you will be served daily continental and cooked breakfast, two-course freshly prepared lunch, and three-course candlelit dinner included in the price. Tea, coffee, and cake on arrival; mid-morning tea, coffee, and biscuits; and afternoon tea, coffee, and homemade cake are available. The retreat is fully catered with fresh and enticing vegan delicacies. Meals consist of a continental breakfast, two-course lunches, and two-course evening meals with a choice of desserts.
All meals are freshly prepared to the highest quality and cooked on site. The private chef does cater to a wide variety of dietary requirements. Please ensure you have submitted your dietary information to Samadhi Retreats & Meditation at the time of booking to make sure that their private chef caters accordingly. If a diet is extremely specialized, then there may be a supplementary charge.

The venue is located north of M62, midway between M1 and M6, and only a short drive from either through beautiful countryside. General maps and directions can be seen at Google Maps. For detailed directions, use the AA’s route planner with "High Trenhouse" as your destination. However, you should use the directions from Skipton or Settle, for the last stage of the journey as SatNav is not reliable on Malham Moor (and mobile phones may not work).
