Immerse yourself on a journey that weaves together ancient teachings with modern science, providing an integrative approach to a wholesome way of living. Deepen your understanding of a dysregulated nervous system and develop new skills to foster calm and balance. Consider this your next step in your personal meditation practice while embarking on a profound path to self-discovery.
This teacher training course experience will take place at Samyama Mindfulness Meditation Center. This beautiful venue was born out of a desire for authenticity and a love of non-dual teachings. Meditation and inner work were the seeds. Love and a dedication to service helped to water this dream.
The facilities have been purposefully designed to support deep transformation, healing, and integration. Unlike many of the hotels in the area, Samyama was created with meditation and inner work as inspiration.
The entire concept was designed around creating an atmosphere for deep contemplation and healing of the mind, body, and spirit in a quiet, peaceful, and supportive environment.
Samyama creates a transformational environment where people feel held and supported in doing deep work. Their teachings will give you the tools to be a more mindful, conscious, and kind human, living with an open heart.
Retreats are often life-changing experiences. Samyama Mindfulness Meditation Center will help you to integrate the program so that when you return home, you can seamlessly implement your new lifestyle into a harmonious way of being.
Their goal is to inspire and empower everyone to create a happier, healthier life for themselves and others, ultimately contributing to the well-being of this planet and society. Their core values are gratitude, awareness, humility, honesty, mutual respect, joy, integrity, and acceptance.
The shared bunk room sleeps four people. The two single bunk beds include plenty of storage space, with stairs instead of a ladder leading to the top bunk for optimal comfort and safety. There is no ensuite bathroom but the shared bathroom facility is a few steps away and offers private bathrooms and hot showers.
Wake up to rice paddy views and beautiful morning sun, meditate under the life cycles mandala, and enjoy your inner journey.
Queen rooms are perfect for a couple or a single person. Kamala is themed after the goddess Lakshmi (known as Kamala or Kamalatmika in the Tantric tradition) and is imbued with abundance, prosperity, fertility, beauty, and love.
Samarasa means 'even essence' and is considered as one of the ultimate non-dual states, where all life has the same taste of creation. This room is perfect for the serious seeker of self-realization. Sundari, as the 'essence of beauty,' has a single bed and is more spacious.
Each meditation corner has a small altar aligned with the theme of the room. Feel free to add to the altar or use the desk to journal. There are no ensuite bathrooms but the shared bathroom facility is a few steps away and offers private bathrooms and hot showers.
You will stay in Villa Mezzanine, a semi-private shared room with two king-sized beds or a private cottage with a bathroom and kitchenette.
Along the same little road that leads to Samyama, just steps away, are three small cottages. The rooms have a queen-size bed, an ensuite bathroom with hot water, a small separate kitchen area, and a nice garden with outdoor seating. The kitchen has a blender, two gas burners, and a decent-sized fridge. They are simple but comfortable, with an air-conditioner and a fan.
Located next to the meditation center is Villa Samyama, a beautiful, private, semi-open-air villa complete with a pool, a river, and the best views on the property. This luxurious villa offers privacy while still in alignment with the vision of creating a community.
There are two private bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and one mezzanine bedroom with a bathroom downstairs. The rooms offer a king-sized bed, air-conditioning, an ensuite bathroom with an outdoor hot shower and a hot bath, sliding glass doors to a private patio overlooking the river, and large closet.
There is also a desk and a separate meditation nook, a private kitchen shared only with other villa guests, and a private pool for villa guests only.
Samyama Mindfulness Meditation Center also offers accommodation options with partnered nearby walking-distance resorts when onsite spaces are all booked.
The course / hours count as Continuing Education hours for Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®) only.
Upon completion of the course, you will be awarded a Yoga Alliance certificate, which is recognized and accepted globally. Samyama Mindfulness Meditation Center is accredited and consistently adheres to the latest Yoga Alliance standards.
Feel like you can’t catch your breath and are drowning in stress, anxiety, and experiencing burnout? Samyama Mindfulness Meditation Center gets it. They’ve been there. If you’re ready to come to the surface, or perhaps, you want to help others do the same, they’re so honored that you’ve found this course at this time.
The Samyama 100-hour, 14-day meditation teacher training course was designed to help you master the art of meditation, nervous system regulation, and natural relaxation. This course blends ancient wisdom with modern science to equip you with powerful tools for stress management, emotional resilience, and deep inner peace.
Samyama Mindfulness Meditation Center will be there to pass on techniques to regulate the nervous system, calm the mind, and create a longer lasting state of peace.
This program will be far more than just a certification. It’ll be a life-changing journey of personal growth and empowerment. Transform your own life and become a confident meditation teacher, guiding others to experience peace, presence, and purpose.
Over the course of 14 days, you will be guided into the depths of different and potent meditation techniques by empowered teachers. You’ll experience diverse meditation practices, each drawing from different spiritual traditions and techniques.
Daily practices will help you discover which form of meditation works best for you, and will give you the ability to guide your future students. You will be taking part in two to four hours of meditation practice daily. This will progress over the 14 days, starting with about two hours daily to four hours by the end of the course.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the nervous system and the role that meditation can play in regulation. You’ll learn practical skills for fostering relaxation, emotional resilience, and stress management, enhancing both personal practice and teaching skills. These techniques can help you bring a sense of calm and balance to yourself and your future students.
While this course is focused on the art and teachings of meditation, you will be guided through 1.5 hours of daily yoga asana practice. For this reason, it’s useful to understand Samyama’s roots. Their asana practice is deeply rooted in Tantric Hatha yoga, a meditative style of yoga with a focus on the subtle energetic and spiritual dimensions of each pose.
You’ll get a taste of some of the classical asanas of Hatha yoga, gaining a better understanding of how they impact not just the body, but also your energy, emotions, mind, and spirit. You will also discover the relaxation gifts offered in Restorative yoga, Yin yoga, and Nidra yoga.
While Samyama Mindfulness Meditation Center values the physical aspects of yoga, their true emphasis is on the integration of mind, body, and spirit. If your priority is strict alignment and precision, their approach may not align with what you’re looking for.
Students will also be allowed to use the daily ‘asana yoga practice’ time to do a different self-practice (not guided), meditation self-practice, other movement practice, journaling, etc.
Dive into the subtle anatomy essential for meditation, covering the nadis (energy channels), polarities (balancing opposing energies within the body), and energy flow principles from multiple traditions. You’ll also explore the physiological components of nervous system regulation, deepening your understanding of meditation’s impact on body and mind.
Explore the power of sound and silence in meditation and beyond. This includes chanting, mantras, and the meditative use of instruments like singing bowls, all designed to enhance relaxation and focus.
You’ll also learn the significance of silence and stillness as part of your powerful three-day silent retreat, which will be part of your course. You will be able to use your acquired skills to host your own short silent retreat.
Samyama Mindfulness Meditation Center loves sharing their passion for this path. They want you to develop all of the required teaching skills, from making meditation posture adjustments / recommendations to giving effective discourses and to tuning into the needs of the individual and the group.
Since the participants in this course are already teaching meditation or are avid long-time practitioners, the group will have ample opportunities to learn from one another through practicum hours, hands-on learning, and peer-to-peer feedback.
Samyama Mindfulness Meditation Center seeks a balance of practice, theory, and teaching formation in their program.
