Day 1: Delhi - Manali (overnight bus journey)
Board into a Volvo bus (AC) in Delhi for an overnight journey to Manali. It would be a very comfortable, semi-sleeper bus.
Day 2: Manali
You will reach Manali in the morning. You will get your motorbikes and have a small ride in the hills and have a ride briefing session. In the evening, you will have free time and stay the night in a hotel.
Day 3: Manali - Rohtang Pass - Jispa (115 kilometers / 71 miles)
After an early breakfast at the hotel, ride to Jispa. You will be crossing over Rohtang Pass (3980 meters) and passing through some very beautiful villages of Lahul Valley like Kokshar (first police check post), Sissu, Gondhala, and Tandi (the confluence of Chandra and Bhaga rivers which is known as China in Pakistan). Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. For the rest of the day, you are free to stroll around the small village. You will have dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Jispa - Baralacha Pass - Sarchu (107 kilometers / 66 miles)
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Darcha passing Gemour en route. Darcha is a small village situated at the base of Baralacha La pass (4850 meters). After a short formality of registration, get ready to go through several curves onto Sarchu (4200 meters) over Baralacha La pass. Upon arrival, check-in at a camp at Sarchu. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the surrounding. You will overnight at the camp.
Day 5: Sarchu - Leh (263 kilometers / 163 miles / 10 hours)
Today is a long and hectic day of your journey as you would be crossing three high mountain passes: Nakila (4900 meters), Lachlung La (5000 meters), and the Tanglang La (5300 meters). Start early in the morning (6 a.m.) to Leh traveling through one of the most spectacular and picturesque landscapes in the world. Arrive in Leh in the evening and stay the night at a hotel.
Day 6: Leh - Alchi - Leh (140 kilometers / 87 miles)
You will be visiting a few monasteries, magnetic hill Zanskar and Indus river Sangam, and the mall road Leh market. After a healthy breakfast, set out for local sightseeing, exploring Leh and the neighboring attractions, visiting Shanti Stupa, Jama Masjid, Leh Palace, Polo Grounds, and the War Museum to name a few. In the later part of the day, check and gear up the bikes as necessary and get ready for the adventure that is to follow the next day.
Day 7: Leh - Khardungla - Nubra (160 kilometers / 99 miles)
After breakfast, drive to Khardungla (the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 feet). Enjoy the Khardungla pass, then head further towards Nubra. Stay the night at a camp.
Day 8: Nubra to Leh (160 kilometers / 99 miles)
In the morning, you will be visiting the sand dunes in Nubra and set out for a double hump camel ride, exploring the villages of Hunder and Diskit; and then, the Panamik hot water springs, where you may take a few dips to give yourself a therapeutic sulfur water treatment. After that, you will head towards Leh. You will stay the night in a hotel.
Day 9: Leh - Pangong Lake (140 kilometers / 87 miles / 6 - 7 hours)
After breakfast, ride to Pangong Lake (14,500 feet), through Changla Pass (17,350 feet), the third highest motorable road in the world. You will then arrive in Pangong, which is the highest saltwater lake in the world, shared by two countries: India and China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake. Stay the night at a camp.
Day 10: Pangong Lake - Leh (140 kilometers / 87 miles / 6 - 7 hours)
After breakfast, drive back to Leh. On the way, visit Shey (was built in 1655 on the instructions of Deldon Namgyal, in memory of his late father, Singay Namgyal, within the palace complex). The monastery is noted for its giant copper with a gilded gold statue of a seated Shakyamuni Buddha Thiksey Monastery.
Day 11: Leh - Jispa (350 kilometers / 218 miles)
You will return from Leh and stay the night at a hotel in Jispa.
Day 12: Jispa - Manali (115 kilometers / 71 miles)
Celebrate with a small party in Manali. You will stay the night in a hotel.
Day 13: Manali - Delhi
Start the bus Journey along the River Bias to ride down the hills. Reach Delhi safely and proceed further for your individual destinations.
Motorbike Damage Cost
In the case that during the tour the motorcycle is damaged and driven by the customer, repair costs up to 80 USD will not charge. Costs beyond 80 USD will be shoulder by the customer.
