Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival / Sacred Valley
Upon arrival at Cuzco airport, they will greet you and arrange transportation to the Sacred Valley. Experience the serene Andean scenery, savor an Andean Group lunch, and then take the remainder of the afternoon to relax. Later in the evening, join them for the 5P opening circle.
Day 2: Sacred Valley and Maras Moray
The day begins at 7 am with a yoga session. Breakfast is at 8 am.
At 09:30, explore the rich history and stunning beauty of the Sacred Valley. Stroll through the picturesque streets of Ollantaytambo, an ancient Inca fortress town. Admire the innovative agricultural terraces of Moray, showcasing Inca farming techniques. Conclude the tour at the mesmerizing Maras salt mines, known for their intricate salt pans. Enjoy a group lunch at Don Ángel Urubamba.
Return to the hotel by around 5 pm.
Day 3: Ollanta - Aguas Calientes
Start the day with an energizing Hatha yoga session at 7 am. Enjoy breakfast at 8 am. Be ready to depart at 9:30 am for Ollantaytambo Station. You will board the 11:15 am Expedition train from Ollanta to Mapi.
At your arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will enjoy a group lunch. Free time for exploration. They recommend a visit to Aguas Calientes water springs.
Day 4: Machu Picchu
Experience an unforgettable journey! Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Join them at 6 am as they witness the solstice phenomenon. The Temple of the Sun in Machu Picchu, constructed by the Incas, was designed with the winter solstice in mind. On June 21, the sun's rays align perfectly to illuminate a ceremonial stone through one of the temple's windows. Similarly, the second window perfectly captures the rising sun's rays during the summer solstice.
Nestled high in the Andes Mountains, Machu Picchu, known as the awe-inspiring "Lost City of the Incas," offers a mesmerizing blend of ancient history and natural splendor.
Day 5: Aguas Calientes, visit to chocolate museum
Begin the day with a sunrise yoga class at 6:00 am, then have breakfast.
At 8:53 you board the Expedition train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo.
Arrive in Ollantaytambo around 11:15 am and proceed to Cusco in your private group transfer.
After your group lunch in Cusco, you will explore the chocolate museum and San Pedro traditional market.
Return to the hotel.
Day 6: Experience-based tourism in the community of Amaru
7:00 Sunrise yoga at the hotel.
8:00 Breakfast
9:30 Depart for the Amaru community (1 hour and 20 minutes drive). You'll have the opportunity to explore the Andean community of Amaru. Experience the daily routines of the mountain community, witness textile weaving like belts and blankets, and observe their agricultural practices.
Enjoy a leisurely afternoon.
Day 7: Departure
Your journey has reached its conclusion. They trust you had a wonderful time in Peru.
Today, you will have breakfast followed by a group transfer to Cusco airport.
