Shree Hari Yoga provided accommodation is uncomplicated yet cozy, ensuring comfort and cleanliness while being conveniently located near the school. Options include double and single rooms, each equipped with an attached bathroom featuring either Indian or Western-style toilets, along with hot water showers. 100 Hours Yoga Alliance Continuing Education (YACEP)

Upon graduation from this course, you will be eligible to add 100 hours of YACEP to your Yoga Alliance registration.

Teaching Practice, Methodology & Technique

In the Pranayama and Meditation section of your Yoga Teacher Training Course , students will engage in a comprehensive study and practical experience of these vital practices.

Pranayama Techniques:

  • You will learn and practice key pranayama techniques, such as Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing), Kapalabhati (skull shining breath), Bhastrika (bellows breath), and Ujjayi (victorious breath).
  • Focus will be placed on understanding the energetic effects of each pranayama, how to sequence them, and the importance of breath retention (Kumbhaka) in deepening the practice.
  • Explore the relationship between pranayama and the chakras, learning how breath work can balance and activate energy centers in the body.
  • Practical teaching sessions will help to develop confidence in guiding pranayama classes, from basic breath awareness to more advanced breath control techniques.

Meditation Techniques:

You will be introduced to various forms of meditation, including mindfulness, mantra-based meditation, guided visualizations, silent sitting and more

Learn the science behind breath control and meditation, including its impact on stress reduction, the autonomic nervous system, and overall health.

  • Student-Led Classes:

You will gradually take responsibility for leading group pranayama and meditation classes. They will receive feedback on sequencing, instruction clarity, and overall teaching presence.

This section aims to provide both a personal deepening of breath and meditation practices, while also preparing students to confidently teach and guide others in these transformative practices.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Dharamshala Gaggal Airport (DHM), which is about 12 kilometers south from Dharamshala and about 10 kilometers north of Kangra, Himachal Pradesh town. Other airports are Chandigarh International Airport (IXC) and Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL).

Arrival by train

To reach Dharamshala by train, one has to reach Kangra, Himachal Pradesh town by Kangra Valley Railway line from Pathankot, which is 94 kilometers away and then take a bus or a taxi. Pathankot is a broad gauge railway head. There is another railway line from Pathankot to Jogindernagar, a part of the Mandi District of Himachal Pradesh, which is a narrow-gauge line. The nearest station to Dharamshala on this line is Chamunda Marg, half an hour away, where a Shaktipitha is; the town is well connected by road to other parts of the country.
