Yoga Nidra is often loosely translated as ‘psychic sleep’. It is a profound practice that works on your ability to absorb information through your subconscious. Facilitate deep relaxation and inner exploration through Yoga Nidra.
Shree Hari Yoga provided accommodation is uncomplicated yet cozy, ensuring comfort and cleanliness while being conveniently located near the school. Options include double and single rooms, each equipped with an attached bathroom featuring either Indian or Western-style toilets, along with hot water showers. In this 50-hour Yoga Nidra teacher training course, Shree Hari Yoga introduces a range of subtle practices aimed at opening and balancing your energy centers and activating your latent energy. Please feel free to check in any time from 10:00 a.m. on the day before your course’s start date. This arrival day is dedicated to settling in and getting familiar with your new surroundings. In the evening, there will be an orientation and opening ceremony followed by a welcome dinner. The following morning your training schedule will commence after a sunrise fire ceremony. On the final day, they will hold a closing ceremony where you will get your certificate followed by a photo session with your fellow graduates. Check-out time is 1:00 p.m., but you may join activities throughout the day as desired.

It is important for all facilitators to know that Yoga Nidra and meditation are two separate practices. Meditation and Yoga Nidra are powerful practices for deep relaxation, self-discovery, and inner transformation. They cultivate mindfulness, reduce stress, enhance mental clarity, and promote overall well-being and balance.
Mantras are considered an important part of Hatha yoga. When you recite mantras, the energy channels of the body open up, and you become more receptive to the universe. It also aids one to focus the mind on the yoga practice. When you recite mantras, your stored emotions are released and you get the full benefits of the asanas. Mudras are nothing but gestures, which you make with your hands and fingers mostly. There are nerves that pass through the fingertips, and each one is connected to a specific organ. When you press the same, you are actually providing therapeutic healing to those body parts.
In yoga, you will discover three essential bandhas that harness subtle energies. These bandhas aid in breath retention, allowing for prolonged posture holding. From Monday to Saturday, generally from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., your daily routine will include multiple practice sessions as well as practical and theory classes. Your schedule will also include open time for you to engage in self-study and practice teaching with your fellow trainees. On Saturdays, you will have only a half day of coursework and Sundays are your days off. Use this time to relax, study, and enjoy your surroundings.

Guru Hari was raised by a Nepalese father and Indian mother in a cross-cultural context near Rishikesh. From an early age, Hari rejoiced in and sung mantra. Presently, Guru Hari teaches traditional Hatha yoga combined with classical knowledge, experiential understanding, and wisdom, as well as a modern outlook. This style of yoga teaching by Guru Hari is essentially a Nath lineage tradition. Guru Hari is also a chef of Ayurvedic food which is known in yogi terminology as sattvic food.
The training will take place in Majestic Himalayan Setting: Experience the awe-inspiring beauty of the Himalayas surrounding VPO Bhagasu Nag Upper Bhagasu in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.
You will be served three healthy meals per day on weekdays and two meals per Saturday included in the price. Saturday dinners and all Sunday meals are at your own expense. Shree Hari Yoga provides healthy, energy-boosting vegetarian (vegan-friendly) meals from Monday to Saturday.
The kitchen staff prides themselves on their selection of local, fresh, and seasonally appropriate ingredients. They aim to give you all the energy you need for this intensive time. Let them nourish your soul and fill your body with prana-supporting meals. Sunday is a holiday for staff and students and they encourage you to try some of the delicious food on offer in the surrounding area.
