Day 1: Arrival, check-in, and dinner
Independent arrival to Florence. Meet with your driver and transfer to your accommodation, provided at a boutique hotel / farmhouse / agritourism (like Villa Lecchi, Tenuta Mensanello, or similar accommodation) in the picturesque villages of Colle Val d'Elsa or San Gimignano. You will be surrounded by the world-famous Chianti Hills.
Check-in, welcome drink, dinner out. Overnight.
Day 2: Discover the Brunello di Montalcino, wine tasting and Siena
After breakfast, meet with a driver/guide and depart towards the Val d'orcia, a Unesco World Heritage site located in the southern part of the Province of Siena. After a beautiful one-hour drive, you will reach an awarded farm for the production of the noble of the wines.
Walk into the vineyards and visit the cellars followed by a wine tasting and local lunch. In the afternoon, stop in Siena (1.5-hour free visit of the city); a gem of the Italian Renaissance, with the Dome and the Piazza del Campo where twice a year is run the famous Palio. In the late afternoon, return to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 3: Volterra, San Gimignano, and Chianti
The day is focused on the visit of historical medieval towns enriched by lunch from a panoramic terrace overlooking the vineyards.
After breakfast, meet with a driver/guide and head towards the medieval town of Volterra located at the edge of the Chianti Region. The day includes a guided tour of the town and free time for shopping. The second stop of the day will be the town of San Gimignano with lunch at a traditional Tuscan restaurant with views of the vineyards.
In the afternoon you will head to the nearby wine estate. Guided by the owner of the estate you will visit the vineyards, cellar, and experience a rich Chianti wine and food tasting. Transfer back to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 4: Bolgheri, Pisa and departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Transfer by minivan to the charming village of Bolgheri a picturesque village, world-known for its local wine Sassicaia and for the Cypress road, a unique road with more than 2400 Cypresses on the roadsides. Visit of the village, wine tasting at a local wine producer followed by lunch in a traditional restaurant where you will try the specialties of Tuscany's cuisine, including truffle, mushrooms, and wild boar.
Pick up and transfer to Pisa. There will be an optional stop at Miracle Square for a last photo under the Leaning Tower before reaching the arport of Pisa / Train Station. Time to say goodbye to Tuscany!
