Program

India - land of colour, diversity, and spirituality. Hard to put into words! It enchants with its unique culture and deep wisdom.

You spend two wonderful weeks together in the mountain region, the Tibetan exile (Little Lhasa) and let your souls dangle. Immersed in colorful carpets with a view of the valley, you listen to stories from yogic philosophy and the unmistakable sounds of the sitar over a cup of chai.

The focus of the trip is to get to know yoga in its diversity and tradition. In addition to the varied yoga practice with Ankur and Anke, which is suitable for all levels, the knowledge of other experienced Indian yoga teachers will enrich you. The special thing about this trip is that you get insights into the origins of yoga as well as the deep Buddhist culture. In addition to the yoga and meditation units, you will enjoy historical sights and the breathtaking nature.

India itself and the trip in particular opens up completely new doors for self-knowledge, growth and transformation.

It will fill you with positive energy and bring you in touch with your life force that is dormant deep within you. You are guaranteed to come home with new inspiration!

Meditation and yoga

Meditation, yoga, and mindfulness exercises in the impressive mountain world and unique atmosphere bring you peace and let you experience a feeling of unity and harmony. The lessons take place on the terrace with a view of the mountain peaks and the monastery of the 14th Dalai Lama (approx. 500 m away!) as well as in the very well equipped yoga room.

You can expect lovingly designed yoga classes with influences from different yoga styles (such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Bhakti Yoga) as well as guided meditations.

The thematically coordinated yoga and meditation units will give you new food for thought, stimulate your creativity and intuition as well as your life force, also known as prana, so that it can (again) flow freely. The varied lessons are suitable for all levels and no previous knowledge is necessary.

The invigorating nature and the impulses from the practice of mindfulness and the yoga philosophy will certainly give you new inspiration and accompany and enrich you in your everyday life.

Weekly routine

The thirteen days are very varied. You will experience a pleasant alternation of physical yoga (asanas), philosophy, meditation, pranayama, exciting excursions and time for yourself. You will find relaxation, peace and certainly new inspiration from which you will draw even after the trip!

The focus of the trip is - take a deep breath, switch off, arrive and get to know the country in its beauty and depth.

  • This year's motto is: The Sound of India

Besides the daily yoga practice, you will explore the spacious area around the Himalayan mountains. The following activities are planned:

  • Ayurveda workshop
  • Other workshops that invite you to relax and reflect. Be excited!

This and many other things are on the agenda! Upon your arrival you will receive a detailed weekly program, let yourself be surprised and enchanted!

Participants and prerequisite

The journey is suitable for beginners as well as for advanced yogis and India/Little Lhasa enthusiasts. The philosophy is: Travel and exercise is possible for everyone! However, a certain level of fitness as well as physical health are important to take part in a trip to a distant country like India. You embark on a magical journey of adventure into another world that brings a lot of new things with it. You become one with nature, adapting to its whims while remembering your own nature. This creates a connection from which you can draw a lot of undreamt-of strength.

All activities are optional. The needs of the participants are always taken into account. Depending on the weather conditions and the course of the day, there may be small changes in the program and a smooth process cannot be guaranteed.

The number of participants is limited to 12 people, so you will spend a week in a very personal group. The trip takes place from a group size of 6 participants.

Daily program

Each day differs a little bit from the other - depending on the day's agenda. You have free time between each activity. Lying in the sun, going for a walk, reading or exploring the area - it is guaranteed not to be boring! All activities are of course optional and voluntary and can be attended according to your own muse. The most important thing is that you go with your feelings and do what is good for you.

A first insight into a possible daily routine:

  • 07:30 Meditation / yoga / pranayama (breathing techniques) or at 11:00 a.m.
  • 09:00 Breakfast
  • Leisure or activity/day trip
  • 17:00 Yoga, meditation/pranayama or other activity
  • 19:00 Dinner

In addition, there will be one day each week that you can design according to your own wishes and needs, either treat yourself to deep relaxation or explore the area on your own.

Included excursions

In addition to the daily yoga practice you will explore the spacious area around the Himalaya Mountains. The following activities and excursions are planned:

  • Visiting the Temple of the Dalai Lama Tsuglagkhang
