Fuerteventura - nestled between sea and volcanoes, blessed with warm climate, bright sun, long beaches, and impressive volcanic landscapes - it is proof that the Canary Islands are also called European Hawaii not without reason. It is the perfect place to escape the gray winter, enjoy nature, and start the new year with the sun on your face.
The language of instruction will be English and / or German.
In the chic Balinese-style villa, there is one thing above all: plenty of space and possibilities to relax. In the garden, you will find a dining area, a pavilion with couches, and various sitting areas. In addition, the yoga Shala, the large pool, and sun loungers are also there.
Inside the house, the highlight is the spacious living and dining area with a large couch, dining table, and bar. There are also a spacious quadruple room, two twin rooms (one with bathroom), two double rooms (both with bathroom), in total 3 bathrooms. Those who arrive with their own car will find enough parking spaces in front of the house.
The 3 bathrooms have to be shared with everyone.
You'll go to Fuerteventura, the perfect island to escape the grey winter, enjoy nature, and start the new year together with new energy. Look forward to an energizing week for body and mind with yoga, meditation, movement sessions, and time for surfing. In addition, there are excursions included to get to know the country and its people.
Get into the flow with a conscious start into the day and movement in nature. This is a week from which you will certainly return with new inspiration and clear goals for 2025!
Have a wonderful balance between activity and rest. Revitalize your body and mind through yoga, mindfulness exercises, and movement sessions. On the group excursions, you will also see different places and get to know the wonderful nature and culture of Fuerteventura.
Moreover, the ocean is waiting for you! You will have the opportunity to take surf lessons (optional) or, if you're already experienced, go surfing yourself. For all activities, no previous knowledge is necessary.
Arrive, switch off, focus, and welcome the new year together with other participants with the sun on your face! In this week, you can let go of everything, take a deep breath, and relax. Soul and Sun Yoga will take care of the rest for you!
Often, one's New Year's resolutions are ridiculed. But what are you going to accomplish without any goals? Everyone strives for a fulfilled life. Your goals are your inner drive for that and for the life which you live. Your goals can be small. Maybe your goal is to be more relaxed and content in your life.
If you have clear intentions, you can achieve what you want. And the good thing is, you will achieve it - step by step. In a coaching-workshop, participants will jointly record and write down their individual goals for 2025. Anke, a certified Theta Healing® practitioner, will also work with the group through the Theta Healing® meditation technique for manifesting.
The thematically coordinated yoga and meditation sessions will give you new food for thought, stimulate your creativity, intuition, as well as life force. The varied sessions are suitable for all levels and no previous experience is necessary.
The movement sessions are based on movement culture and functional training. Movement culture aims to fully utilize the huge movement potential of the human body. It is not about perfection, but about giving the body what it needs.
During the sessions in the Shala, at the pool or at the beach, you will get to know different forms of movement and training approaches and practice them playfully. You will mainly use your own body weight.
You can look forward to different approaches from animal flow, handstand, HIIT, functional training, coordination, flexibility, and strength. You wouldn't want to go to your limit, but that doesn't mean you won't sweat. All "fitness levels" are welcome. It's all about fun, well-being, and a group feel. There is no competition. That is very important to soulandsunyoga.
After the workouts, you will feel energized, satisfied, and invigorated. You will learn new ways of moving and gain a lot of inspiration for your own exercise program.
Anke is a yoga teacher and tour guide. The focus of her yoga classes is on a holistic practice that strengthens the body and calms the mind. The classes are suitable for all levels and have their origins in the traditional Indian Hatha Yoga practice. In Anke's lessons and retreats, it is always her intention to create a space in which one can experience and grow on a deeper level. In addition to depth, a happy and light atmosphere is also important to her, in which there is enough time and space to enjoy life!
Movement & Fitness Trainer and Personal Coach. Daniel is passionate about fitness and nutrition and is an absolute movement talent. He loves to challenge himself and his group with creative and varied workouts. His sunny disposition and open nature create a pleasant exercise atmosphere that is all about having fun while pushing participants out of their comfort zone (and sometimes to their limits)! Daniel has a very broad view of the human body.
The Balinese-style villa is located in the quiet village of Lajares. A 10-minute walk will take you to nice cafes, surf stores, boutiques, bars, restaurants, and live music. Every Saturday there is an art market in the square and on Wednesdays live music at the Canela.
Due to its convenient location, you can reach the north, east, and west sides of the island within 15 minutes by car. So, there is a choice of beaches, sunrise or sunset, dunes, or cliffs. On one side is the quiet surfer village of El Cotillo with its wide beaches, cliffs, and sunsets, and on the other side is the lively Corralejo with its famous dunes, its clubs and bars, and lots of shopping.
For the excursions and common activities, there will be two cars available, which can also be used for other trips and transports (after arrangement on the spot. Unfortunately, only the organizers are allowed to drive as registered drivers).
You will get the necessary energy boost from the delicious, wholesome cuisine. The dishes will be vegetarian, vegan, and versatile, according to yogic philosophy.
On the first night, the group will have a dinner together at the villa. You will have 4 dinners together at the villa and on the other days, you will have plenty of opportunities to eat out. Whoever doesn’t want to join will find plenty of restaurants around the villa in walking distance.
Snacks / water / tea / coffee will always be available at the villa.
Surf lessons (3 h approx. € 55,-)

The Canary Islands is a true paradise for all surfers and those who want to become one! Fuerteventura is a mecca for outdoor and water sports fans. Kite-, wind- and wave surfing are on top of the list due to strong winds and the favorable location in the Atlantic Ocean.
What makes surfing so special is the freedom and flow you experience. The feeling of oneness with nature, the inescapable presence in the here and now, and of course, the adrenaline and fun are the main focus.
What connects Daniel and Anke so much, besides their friendship, is their great enthusiasm for surfing! They are looking forward to sharing one or the other wave with you, besides yoga and movement sessions.
You will have the opportunity to take surf lessons with experienced coaches on site. This is scheduled for two days and is optional. Surf lessons can only be booked on site and through an external surf school. If you already have surfing experience, you can also explore the surf spots in the area on your own or in a group. You can rent equipment at the surf schools.

The nearest airport is Fuerteventura and is about 35 minutes away by car. Flights are available from 50 EUR each way (an example is Ryanair from Berlin). The villa is a few minutes drive' or 15 minutes walk from the village center of Lajares. Corralejo and El Cotillo are about 15 minutes away by car.
The organizer can pick you up from the bus station in Lajares.
