Itinerary
Day 1: Mountains
- 06:00 Depart from meeting point for Mt Batur
Note: Stoked Surf Bali likes hiking at about 8 a.m. because it's less crowded and usually still a great time to hike. However, if you want to do a sunrise hike, you will need to leave by about 3:30 a.m. Please discuss with them if this is your preference.
- 07:30 - 08:00 Coffee / breakfast at Kintamani with spectacular views of Mt Batur and Lake Batur from the crater rim
- 08:30 - 11:00 Hike Mt Batur Volcano within the Kintamani Caldera
With good reason, this is the most popular hike in Bali and can easily be done with a moderate level of fitness. If the skies are clear, you will have unforgettable views of the caldera, lava flows from eruptions back in the early 1960’s, Lake Batur, and Bali’s biggest mountain, Mt Agung.
- After your hike you will go to Villa Jempana to book in, relax, and have lunch (included)
- 14:30 - 16:30 ATV / quad bike
Get ready for some excitement as you explore the trails and lower slopes of Mt Batur on an ATV / quad bike. They think this is by far the best location for quad biking in Bali.
- 16:30 Onwards: At your leisure
You can buy dinner at the hotel or you might like to ask your guide to take you to Oculus which has a great restaurant and a view over the lake and mountains.
Day 2: Mountains
- 09:00 Depart Villa Jempana for rafting or cycling between 10:00 and 13.00
Choose between rafting the thrilling rapids through the lush green gorges of the Telaga Waja River or cycling from Kintamani through the rice terraces and traditional villages of Bali towards the south coast. There is a lot of downhill in the bike riding and only a moderate level of fitness is required.
- 13:00 - 13:30 Lunch (included)
- 13:30 Rafter’s drive back to Kuta via Sidemen with option for Gembleng Falls walk before heading to Sanur for sailing in a Hobi Cat (catamaran) or cable ski park. Cyclists go straight to Sanur or cable ski park.
Sailing: Try your hand at sailing a Hobi Cat in the clear blue waters of the lagoon on the inside of the Sanur reef (a safe area away from the open ocean). An instructor will be with you to make sure you get the most out of the experience. If the winds are light and not suitable for sailing, you can try sea kayaking and/or explore the Sanur foreshore on bikes.
Bali Wake Park: Wakeboard, kneeboard, waterski, and skurf on the picturesque five hectare Cable Park lake, mounted with an overhead, state-of-the-art cable system which enables you to glide across the water surface with ease.
- Your Active Break finishes in Kuta area at approximately 17:00
