Sunshine Marine Lodge has spectacular views of the beach but is not directly in front of the hotel. It is an excellent holiday destination for those looking for a combination of stylish and cozy accommodation, unspoiled relaxing nature, and diving or snorkeling with the in-house diving center, Dive Point Zanzibar.
Sunshine Marine Lodge provides free transfers to the beach at their sister property, Sunshine Bay, multiple times per day. The transfer takes around 10 minutes by car.
During the retreat, you will be spending your 7 nights in Sunshine Marine Lodge's double deluxe suite with a garden view.

Instructors
Simon Delmas
Simon has been a French open-water scuba instructor since 2012 and Master Scuba Diver Trainer since 2013. Since April 2019, he has been a tec deep instructor, gas blender instructor, and tec sidemont instructor. He has dived the Red Sea, Indian, Atlantic, and Pacific Oceans so not many seas left and guess it is probably because they are too cold. He’s been working as an instructor in Thailand on Koh Tao then moved to Zanzibar and helped to open and start up Team Aqua Diving in Nungwi then shifted to East Africa diving. Since 2015, he’s been managing Dive Point Zanzibar.
Anuta
Anuta has been a recognized yoga instructor in Guangzhou (China) since 2016, then moved to Zanzibar in 2018 with her yoga skills and experience of teaching. She believes in living a life free of judgment, filled with joy and gratitude. These feelings inform and guide her teaching and practice, which is focused on helping her students better connect to themselves and their surroundings. In regular practice, she used to touch only physical aspects of the body but during workshops or retreats, she’s glad to share her spiritual knowledge.
Location
Sunshine Marine Lodge is situated in the perfect place to have privileged access to the spectacular marine show of the Indian Ocean and Mnemba Atoll, one of the most biodiverse coral reefs around Zanzibar. It is located on a beautiful cliff on the northeast coast of Zanzibar, in the northern part of Matemwe, close to Muyuni Beach, just opposite Mnemba Island. The tropical fishing capital of East Africa, Mnemba is an island just off Sunshine Marine Lodge. It has stunning aquarium-like conditions on the west side and good wall diving on the east side of the island.
