Mediation is a word in Sanskrit for Dhyana yoga. Dhyana yoga is a different aspect of yoga in order to attain Shamadhi super consciousness. Mediation therefore may assist in helping balance of the mind for harmony, peaceful, and happiness within. The ultimate mediation aims to develop and transform different faculties of the brain. The faculties of the brain concern with your emotions, passion, anger, in order to express them. Therefore, mediation is very important to express and release your emotions, passion, anger, and different negativity of the mind. Mediation is considered to be a technique to understand the strain and stress of your daily life and how to be free from them. Without mediation, it is very difficult to manage stress and strain in your daily life.
During this course, you will be accommodated at Swami Samarpan Ashram. If you would like to have a real ashram experience, this is definitely the place to be. The Swami Samarpan Ashram has eight rooms that can accommodate up to 16 persons. Basically, it includes shared rooms with two people per lodging. The ashram is growing its own garden with bananas, mangoes, lemons, rudraksha trees, and other vegetables. It is gifted with nature, making your sessions one with the universe and making you forget about your problems in the world.
Moreover, ashram is more of a home that embodies a simple living where one can develop a positive attitude and an understanding of selfless service. It is a place of inspiration because it does not teach or preach; it exhibits, and you imbibe what is applicable to you. Ashram life does not require renunciation or rejection of the world. Rather, its goal is to change one’s perspective on everyday life. It is recommended that you stay in the Swami Samarpan Ashram for at least 20 days in a year to relax, unwind, and reestablish a more wholesome and balanced perspective in life.
Ashrams usually represent a return to a simpler way of living, which is very different to a hotel. Generally there is a more communal atmosphere and often an expectation that guests will pitch in with whatever needs doing.
Through meditation in a daily life, one can transform the social life into a positive lifestyle. Regular meditation also helps organize a positive management of the life and pranic energy. Pranic energy is the root cause of your positive lifestyle and good Samskars. Meditation is a key practice of the awakening of Kundalini (chakra energy).
Meditation is a key practice of all traditions and religions in order to attain the consciousness of the supreme god. The aim and goal of the meditation are to be free of karma (sufferings), attain the freedom, experience real love, truth, light, and wisdom within. Finally, the practice of the meditation leads to the final liberation.
Therefore meditation teacher training course is a unique training among all the training of yoga, Tantra, and spiritual science. From day one to the end of the course, you will study. Every Sundays, there will be free time. You may choose to go rafting, swimming, or on an excursion to be paid by the students themselves.
From day one to the end of the course will be study sessions and every Sundays will be holidays for free time.
Karma yoga is an important and vital part of the course.
During this program, you wiill have the chance to visit sacred temples around Rishikesh.
Guruji Avadhut Samarpananandaji (Himalayan Master) was born in a small tribe village, Odisha, India. After his graduation in Science with Botany (Honours), then he left home and visited Gurukul (family of masters) life in Rishikesh at Shivananda Ashram. Completed the 15th Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy (YVFA) certificate course in 1990 on the philosophy & psychology of Yoga & Vedanta.
