Wellness Retreat in Indonesia

The Amala
There are 20 independent villas in the hotel, with bright and spacious landscape designs, elegant bedrooms, private swimming pools and 24-hour butler service. It is also the first villa to have aromatic steam showers (room type - SPA villa).

Bring your family or your friends on holiday and book the stunning Residence for the ultimate luxurious holiday getaway. The three en-suite bedroom Residence offers spacious open living and dining areas with full service kitchen.
3. Villas
- 120 sqm - 180 sqm
From the romantic spa villa to the luxurious honeymoon pool villa. Hideaway in one of their signatures one. Bedroom villas which include both indoor / outdoor living areas, a dining area and a fully equipped open. Kitchenette or luxuriate in your own private steam shower in the spa villa.

Leona Chen, a well-rounded International Wellness Specialist who has been extensively dedicated to the field of holistic wellness for years. She combines western physiology and aromatherapy with Traditional Chinese medicine, Indian Ayurveda philosophy & yogic wisdom. Leading the Wellness & Spa team at the Amala, she also leads the beautiful sunset meditation with Tibetan singing bowls. We encourage you to actively communicate/ interact with her in the workshops she leads during your stay at TULA retreat. We believe you can gain a lot of knowledge and mindfulness skills.

Ninie was introduced to yoga by a close friend and our first practice took place at The Yoga Barn in 2014 since then Yoga become a pathway to discovering happiness within herself. In April 2021, she achieved her 200-hour Hatha Yoga YTT certification at Udana Yoga Academy. Following this, in May 2023, she successfully completed her 50-hour Yin Yoga YTT at Salty Prana. She immersed herself in a Sound Healing Workshop at Udara Bali in August 2023, and just completed her 100-hour Meditation Teacher Training Ether Module at Alchemy Yoga & Meditation Centre Ubud in March 2024.

About the Location
Located in the most fashionable and elite area of Seminyak in Bali, it is in an excellent location close to the beach, shopping malls and restaurants, providing maximum convenience to all guests.
The Amala adopts a combination of Chinese and Western design, combining the tranquility and elegance of the Chinese bamboo forest, local natural materials and oriental Zen furniture to create a beautiful and quiet paradise.
Food
The goal of any well-crafted diet is to provide foods that are easy to digest and prepare the body for detoxification.
For example: lemon, aloe vera, tempeh, moringa, sauerkraut (probiotics) + herbal tea,
Rich in adaptogenic herbs and roots that help your bodies stay stress-free and restore balance. For centuries, Eastern medicine has used adaptogens to boost your immune systems and reduce the harmful effects of stress on the body.
For the 5 days and 4 nights of meal preparation, they selected roots such as galangal, lemongrass and cumin seeds, which contain flavonoid compounds that act as antioxidants in the body.
- Galangal - The root is similar to ginger; its nutritional properties are to aid digestion, aid abdominal function and support gastrointestinal motility. Then there is a full day juice fasting plan to help the body's cells have more energy for metabolic detoxification

1. Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Using lymphatic drainage massage techniques as a basis, with a natural and non-intrusive method of cleansing the inside of the ears and relieving pressure in the head, this treatment helps promote thermal circulation in the encephalon by increasing oxygen and blood circulation.
2. Abdominal Intestinal Purification Treatment
Amala's signature holistic body massage using a warm herbal compress to melt your tension away. Using dry flower powder with milk for a nourishing exfoliating bath, this signature ritual cleanses and restores the mineral balance and PH in the body. A rich green tea body lotion is applied as a mini finishing touch. (included)
3. Amala Healing Ritual
The iced jade board Gua Sha, along the meridian line on the face and neck takes away the long-term accumulation of edema and inflammation matters and uses only pure and organic botanicals facial care products. (included)
4. Detox Purification Ritual
Start with aromatic steam bath of lemongrass and ginger to open the body pores and expand the breathing channel, relax the nervous system and stimulates the sweat glands, follow with lymphatic drainage body massage using a warm turmeric herbal compress to melt your tension away. Using raw cacao powder for a cleansing, exfoliating, and an herbal bath to promotes the circulation of Qi and blood throughout the body. A rich green tea body lotion is applied as a mini finishing touch. (included)
