Welcome to the home of Andrea; a magical 400-year-old farmhouse built of the local Maltese limestone, which has been renovated and kept in old-modern style, offering comfort, charm, and relaxation. The farmhouse offers a warm, sensual, and idyllic inspiration to regenerate and reveal yourself. It lies on a ley line connected to a water portal just off the island of Comino. A magical space, abundant in local crystals, plants, cats, and love.

Located in the middle of the Mediterranean sea on the island of Gozo in the village of Qala. Gozo, which means 'joy', is a little spit of land sitting in the Mediterranean Sea with a unique rocky coastal landscape, waters so crystal-clear and the sky so bright blue that you’ll have to rub your eyes to believe what you are seeing. Gozo is the second-largest island of the Maltese Archipelago and is an ideal destination for those who treasure a slow, relaxed rhythm of life and cherish the unspoiled countryside and being close to the sea. The beauty of surrounding nature all around creates an ambiance of complete peace.

The home and lifestyle are based on relaxation, play, and inspiration. While there is Wi-Fi, you will find a better signal without it as our home is connected with nature, animals, sunrise, and walking trails. She shares her space with five affectionate cats: Azué, Molly, Louisa, Oscar, and Blackie. The garden outside the pool area gives season vegetables and herbs when available. We also buy fresh goat cheese, goat milk, and free-range eggs from the neighbor, who is a shepherd and can be seen daily walking her sheep and goats by the house.

Life is simple, supportive, and nurturing. You will be well looked after and nurtured as all your basic needs are provided for. The home does not have a television but it does have a large table for everyone to share and support one another.

The house is set on three floors with three en-suite bedrooms on each level. Its private pool overlooks the untiring views of Blue Lagoon, Comino, and Malta. The heart of the home is the triangular common area with a living room, kitchen, dining, and a fireplace. And Located just below is the natural healing cave where therapies and sessions take place. Andrea lives in the top part of the house while the other bedrooms, The Pool Room and The Earth Room are located in the middle and lower part of the house.

You will stay in a private bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Fresh towels and linens, and a hairdryer are provided. There is Wi-Fi and each room is equipped with a gas heater for winter and a fan for summer.

Andrea lives on the property.

Pool Room

The middle room, which connects to the common areas, has one queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. It has a door that connects directly to the pool. The bathroom also has a bathtub. It is the oldest room in the house and displays traditional Maltese tiles as well as high ceilings. The room is ideal for dreams, relaxation, and connection to water.

Earth Room

The lower room, which is partially underground, has one queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. It connects to the healing cave. It is the quietest room in the home. The room is ideal for deep introspection and meditation. The energy of the room and its cave have been known as an initiation room, where you are able to meet, embrace, and unlock awareness and power that has previously held you back.

Massages, sessions with Andrea, and yoga - weather not permitting in winter - will be held in the cave (only for those on retreat). We kindly ask you to allow us to pass through the room to the cave. All other uses of the cave are by the discretion of the guest in this room.

Program

After over a decade of service in the field, Andrea approaches retreats like she does life: play with what arises in a spiritual-human way. Katia is deeply connected with nature and shares the wisdom of sacred plants. Spontaneity, creativity, and joy of whatever arises is the dance of life. Support and sharing are the cornerstones. In the home, taking responsibility for what you feel as well as owning your own authenticity is essential. Join their family of cats and local women who warmly welcome you to share and remember the beautiful gift of being human experiencing life.

Allow yourself the opportunity to let go of the pain, suffering, and discomfort that has accumulated in the body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Be supported to embrace and meet your inner world. Receive tools on how to cultivate your relationship with yourself, emotional release, and how to navigate and discern the discomfort of what arises within you. Honor yourself through time and space in a safe, nurturing, sanctuary. Andrea and Katia will also be on hand for one-on-one individual and personal support and guidance if needed (unless spirit calls for a journey).

Life in the home focuses on relaxation and authenticity, allowing what has been unseen within to be seen, embraced, and transformed through support, gentle guidance and self-realization. Movement, foods, guidance, exercises, and sessions all support your process. (this retreat is not a replacement for medical assistance or a home for substance withdrawal).

Since the world around us is merely a reflection of the world within us, it is not so much what happens in the world but how it affects us. What is the inner dialogue that you continue to water day after day? When you listen to yourselves, are you what you think? Who is it that is speaking? The voice within is our friend or enemy or both?

The silent retreat allows you to listen, to get to know and befriend the voice within. It allows space and time to hear yourself, and after you have heard and witnessed all the unsaid remarks, you are able to be in a space that is quiet, and without thoughts or internal dialogue or remarks.

Allows your thoughts to inspire you. Gather inspiration of the purest and cleanest form as you spend the majority of your time together walking and trekking in nature. Allow your conversation to be spoken and heard and shared with nature as you explore and traverse sacred sites, crystal lands, and fossilized lands.

If you are looking for answers around you, let this retreat answer your question. Find the answer yourself within you and also confirmed by that of nature. It may be through a bird, a crystal you unearth, a sunset, whatever way it presents itself to you, allow and gift yourself to the opportunity to re-discover your power that you had the answer all along.

Suitable for any level and any age. Beginner and experienced all welcome and encouraged.
