Single rooms

Tianmeng Academy facilities include a single room for each student. The academy respects everyone's privacy and a need for a proper rest beside the training. The bathrooms have male and female separation. Each one consists of western toilets, private shower cabins, and washing machines. There is permanently hot water for the convenience of the students.

During the summer, there are free fans and air-conditioning. During winter, there are heaters as well as electric blankets. The academy has a capacity of not more than 40 students that keep the academy in a family-like atmosphere and maintains the coziness and the comfort of students.

Make sure you inform Tianmeng Shaolin Kung Fu Academy in advance of your trip to the academy so they can guarantee you an available room (especially during the summer months).

Generally, there is a communal atmosphere when training at Tianmeng Academy and guests are expected to follow rules as the school life is set by timed practices and routine. It is different from staying in a hotel, and combined with the training given, is a very authentic experience.

Apart from a medical condition, living conditions, and genetic factors, exercise, and emotion play very important roles in maintaining fitness, healing from disease, detox, and getting longevity. Chinese traditional retreat method mainly involves Taoism Bi Gu, Qi Gong and Meditation.

About Qi Gong

Qi Gong, a practice rooted in traditional Chinese culture for over 3000 years, is treasured in China. With various styles influenced by Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, and Chinese Medicine, practitioners aim to cultivate Qi for improved health and longevity. By regulating the heart, organs, breath, and overall body strength, Qi Gong can prevent and treat illnesses while nurturing the mind, body, and spirit. Understanding how Qi flows in the body is essential for mastering this ancient art.

About Meditation.

Meditation is a way of healing treatment. It has over 3000 years’ history. You need to cross your knees and close your eyes when you meditate, regulate your breath, put hands in a certain place, and empty your mind. It is a normal way to cultivate Taoism. In Buddhism, it names “zen sit” or “zen still” which is a compulsory lesson of Buddha. The posture of meditation includes natural sitting, double sitting and single sitting. Meditation could make people healthy, live longer, and also could develop wisdom.

Meditation is a way to refresh your spirit, make you face difficulties and urgent issues peacefully and placidly in your daily life. To say that meditation is an art of life.

Tianmeng Academy is nestled in the Tianmeng Mountains, very far from the city, providing peaceful and authentic environments for learning Chinese traditional Kung Fu, Tai Chi, wellness Qigong, and Meditation. The content of negative oxide ions in the air is very high and the vegetation is very rich, which makes this area a famous longevity area in China. It is also the World Geopark and World Longevity Area awarded by the UN, and it is the reason why we chose to make the school here. The environment is very nice and peaceful. Guided by Chinese traditional culture and philosophy, Kungfu training is physical training and mind cultivation, motion, and stillness combination. Mountains make people peaceful, which is an ideal environment for aspiring traditional Kung Fu students in China.

During this training, you will be served three hot meals per day, seven days a week. Vegetarian, vegan, and halal food will be catered for. On special occasions such as festivals and birthdays, the masters and students will eat together. The cook is very flexible and has lots of years of experience in cooking.

The meals are carefully prepared, taking into consideration the need for energy and health maintenance while training in Kung Fu. The academy buys products locally and ensures that they are free of additives, enhancers, E-numbers, and pesticides. The academy prepares special meals for vegetarians and vegans. For students from Muslim countries, the academy gives special consideration as it is known how important it is for them to eat halal.
