The high standard of service, excellent food and drink along with magnificent coastal views, make the magical and unique village of Nant Gwrtheyrn the ideal place to relax and recharge and to make new friends. The venue is truly stunning and seeped in Welsh history. The place was awarded a 5 Star by the Welsh Tourist Board.

All of the rooms are en suite and there are multiple bedroom options providing accommodation for up to 30 people. All are comfortable, uncluttered and tastefully furnished. The majority have sea or mountain views. All have free Wi-Fi, a desk space, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Program

After the amazing success and positive feedback from the retreats held so far in 2022, Tru Dru Yoga is returning again - same place, in April and October 2022. Join Cat and Amy in this yoga, meditation, and walking retreat (with open sea swimming) to celebrate the coming of the autumnal season. Imagine doing your early morning Sun Salutations on the side of a mountain cliff-top overlooking the sea as the sun rises with a small group of like-minded Yogis. Yes, this April weather can still be magical.

If you’re in need of a post-winter rejuvenating break then take a few days away to walk through some of the world’s most beautiful scenery in the landscape of North Wales. This yoga holiday will include mornings and evenings of yoga and Meditation, afternoon guided walks in the beautiful mountains, and Coastal Paths of The Llyn Peninsula with stunning views, and being totally immersed in nature and history.

The daily yoga and meditation sessions will be taught by Cat and Amy and will include fun activations, energy block releases, flowing sequences, pranayama, deep relaxations, prana kriyas, meditation, and spiritual guidance. Specific workshops and experiences - Qi Gong, Gong Bath included.

The walks will be around two to four hours long, including lunch breaks, and will take you to mountains, quarries, and the sea. You’ll also enjoy de-stressing relaxation sessions and optional therapies like hypnotherapy and Reiki to help you to relax and recharge. There will also be a beautiful sound healing gong bath and a few new surprise activities for 2023.

  • 3 pm - 5 pm Coastal Walk - long and moderate amble (approx 3 miles)

Wednesday 5th

Location

The northern coast of the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula overlooks Porthdinllaen Bay. A truly magical location, the former quarry village of Nant Gwrtheyrn provides the perfect setting for your retreat. With its own private mile long beach, chapel, a variety of yoga space and breakout rooms and five-star group accommodation, it has all the required facilities to make your stay a truly memorable occasion.

There are packages available to keep to your budget if you wanted to find your own offsite accommodation - but the standalone village has all you need on site and is totally stunning - you may regret not staying at The Nant!

Food

The food is vegetarian and is of such quality that even dedicated meat eaters can be fully satisfied by it. This is achieved because the chefs understand that if you are not naturally a vegetarian being faced with a meatless diet can seem daunting.

The chefs are skilled at creating really tasty, readily digestible dishes that are always freshly home cooked and nutritious. The emphasis is on fresh and seasonal produce, using locally-grown whenever this is possible.

They are also very experienced in creatively meeting a wide range of essential dietary needs including vegan, gluten-free and many others relating to significant health issues such food allergies, coeliac disease, etc.

You will serve yourselves from a buffet-style table, ensuring you get what you like and the quantity you want. No one need ever go hungry. There is also a café onsite with a small shop which sell great gifts to take home.
