How the retreat works

This retreat experience will be held on August 7th and 8th, 2021 virtually from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (GMT-4), both days. You will enjoy two 30-minute led meditation sessions each day. Additionally, there are 90 minutes of break time each day, during which you can meditate if you choose to.

Retreat information

Have you ever noticed the parallels between relationships within an ecosystem and the interactions within your own psyche? Have you considered the similarities between celestial phenomena and the human experience? These are the questions you will explore during your panel discussions, led by experts in the fields of neuroscience, hypnotherapy, Buddhism, clairvoyance, biology, astronomy, physics, psychiatry, and sociology.

Panel discussions

Your experience will include two panel discussions led by experts in their fields: 'What is consciousness?' and 'Cause and effect within worldly systems as relates to cause and effect within consciousness'. Be part of the investigation and ask the experts your questions.

Breakout sessions

In addition to panel discussions, you will attend breakout sessions led by experts in the fields of mindfulness in counseling, mindfulness in life coaching, mindfulness in healing, building a mindfulness-based business, using social media to grow a mindfulness-based business, and mindfulness and personal development.

Mindfulness instruction

A TSD mindfulness-sponsored retreat is not complete without instruction led by TSD mindfulness expert and founder Sarah Vallely. Her topics include mindfulness of the 'temperamental body' and how this system affects your experience, improving focus and concentration during meditation, and reducing stress during times of crisis. You will personally gain from leaning into the powerful experiential activities and insightful lectures. This retreat is open to the public and is also a requirement for those participating in any TSD Mindfulness certification program.

Mindfulness meditation sessions

Sarah Vallely will lead you into mindfulness meditations using the practices outlined by TSD Mindfulness. Practices include mindfulness of sound, physical sensations, and breath. And mindfulness of sensations within the gut area and heart center. The practice entails taming the mind, soothing the gut, and dwelling in the heart.

Optional certification

If you register for the retreat, you have the option to enroll in one of the certification programs of TSD Mindfulness following the retreat, beginning from August 18th. TSD certification programs include mindfulness counselor, mindfulness coach, mindfulness teacher, mindfulness healer, and mindfulness minister.

This mindfulness retreat is held online. TSD Midfulness is based in Asheville, North Carolina, USA (GMT-4) and they will live-stream the classes via Google Meet which you can participate from the comfort of your home by just using your phone or computer.
