Ashlack Estate is an old manor farmhouse that has been converted into a beautiful retreat center with attention to detail, offering a unique space to unwind and slow down, and creating a perfect learning environment.

Ashlack provides a space that is blissfully rustic. Swimming in lakes, wolfing down a seemingly inexhaustible supply of freshly grown delights, witnessing the abundant curiosity and joy of the land.

And when the days draw short and the darkness rises, you sit amongst the sloes and hawthorne. Something bubbling away on the Aga. The crackling of an open fire. The feeling of arriving home.

Program

Your day will start with daily energizing yoga practice - combining somatic work and breathwork. Each day you will explore the link between nature and yourself through forest bathing in the woods, wild swimming in the breathtaking waters of the lake district, and sacred walks in the woods, re-establishing the fundamental connection with nature.

The program will include:

  • 3 full days of yoga practice twice a day - Bodywork and breathwork
  • Healthy delicious organic vegetarian food - twice daily (brunch and dinner) plus snacks in the afternoon, locally sourced and prepared to offer you an unforgettable food experience
  • An introductory workshop to somatic work (working with the body and breath)
  • Reconnect with nature -wild swimming and forest bathing in the beautiful landscape of the Lake District
  • Meditation and mindful practices - building the foundation to maintain balance and creating happiness from within
  • Social time, alcohol-free cocktails and tonics, and other healthy treats that enhance life!

The beautiful retreat location in England is situated in the world-famous Lake District. Pull on your boots and head out to discover the walled garden, ancient woodland, and long country walks. Only 15 minutes from Coniston and 20 from Windermere, there’s plenty of opportunities to immerse yourself in the South Lakes.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL) or Manchester Airport (MAN). From Liverpool Airport, it's best to get around with a car or a train. There is a train straight from Manchester Airport to Ulverston town, which is a short taxi ride from the retreat center, otherwise by car.

Arrival by train

When visiting the Lake District, Tula Flow Yoga suggests that you come by car or getting a train to Ulverston or Oxenholme Station. They can assist in organizing taxis if needed.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 25% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 14 days before arrival.
