MotoGP Mugello Experience is an amazing motorcycle tour exclusively dedicated to all the fans of the best motorbike races championship in the world - MotoGP. This race takes place in the Mugello World Circuit in Tuscany, Italy, just a few kilometers from Florence for the Italian MotoGP Grand Prix. This is a fantastic experience that will allow you to see one of the best MotoGP races of the year, discover beautiful towns and all this riding a motorcycle on some of the best twisty roads in Italy!
During this tour, you will stay in a hotel in Florence, located only a few kilometers from the circuit of Mugello in Tuscan hills.
The tour starts and finishes in Florence. It includes 2 days' tickets to see the qualifying (on Saturday) and race (on Sunday) in a stand with numbered seats and a maxi-screen to follow the race without losing any detail! Also, included in the price is reserved motorcycle parking at the race track and a Ducati cap and t-shirt!
You will meet in Florence on Thursday for a short ride and a welcome dinner. On Friday, you will ride through the Apennine Mounts riding the most popular roads of the Mugello area: the Futa Pass and Raticosa Pass to visit the Ducati Museum and Factory. You will also have a chance to shop at the Ducati store. You will stay in a nice hotel in Florence so it will be possible to visit this wonderful world-famous city and only a few kilometers from the circuit of Mugello in the Tuscan hills.
On Saturday, a short ride will lead you to the circuit and you will see the qualifying in the morning, then in the afternoon you will ride your bikes on the phenomenal “Muraglione Pass”, one of the most exciting in Italy!
On Sunday, you will see the 3 races of the MotogGP Italian Grand Prix (Moto3, Moto2, and MotoGP). In the afternoon free time to relax on the streets of Florence.
On Monday morning, you will visit the Chianti, a beautiful wine area in the south of Florence well known for its hills, vineyards, and funny roads. You will visit the towns of San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, and Greve in Chianti. Then, you will come back to Florence to enjoy the roads of the Italian countryside and the hundreds of turns of the Chianti.

You will meet at 05:00 p.m. in Florence for greetings and to take the rental motorcycles. Then, you will ride to the amazing Piazzale Michelangelo which has a breathtaking view of Florence. After that, you will have a welcome dinner in the best pizzeria in Florence. After dinner, you will have some free time to walk around Florence. Accommodation will be in a hotel in Florence.
Meeting in the morning after breakfast. You will ride our bikes through the Apennine Mounts making two famous passes: “Passo della Futa” and “Passo della Raticosa” to Borgo Panigale to visit the Ducati Museum and Factory. You will have lunch at the Ducati Scrambler Food Factory restaurant in Bologna. After lunch, you will go back to Florence. Free time in the evening for dinner and visiting Florence. Accommodation in a hotel in Florence.
You will wake up early today, have your breakfast and be ready to reach with your bikes the Mugello World Circuit to see the qualifying of Moto3, Moto2, and MotoGP. Enjoy lunch at the circuit (not included in the tour price). After that, you will make another famous Italian pass, the “Passo del Muraglione“. Accommodation in a hotel in Florence.
Again, wake up early, have breakfast, and ride your bikes, so you can reach the Mugello circuit on time to see the races. Moto3 is at 11:00, Moto2 at 12:20, and MotoGP at 14:00. Lunch at the circuit (not included in the tour price). After the races, with no hurry or stress (there is very heavy traffic), you will ride back to your hotel in Florence and have a relaxing afternoon. In the evening, you will have your last dinner all together in Florence, and time to party! Accommodation is in a hotel in Florence.
This will be your last day of the tour. Once you are all ready, you will depart from Florence to the Chianti region through some exciting roads such as the “Chiantigiana” and the “Cassia”. You will make some stops: first to San Gimignano, a fantastic medieval city famous for its towers (aka the “Medieval Manhattan”), then to Monteriggioni, a cute little town that seems like a movie set, where you will have lunch. For last, you will stop at Greve in Chianti, the heart of this wine region. From there, you will ride your bikes to reach Florence in the afternoon to give back the motorbikes and greetings!
Please note that if your preferred motorcycle is not available for your dates, you can choose an available alternative of the same type. If you change the type, the price will be adjusted accordingly.
Tuscany Motorcycle Tours also provides helmets, gloves, jackets, and all the accessories you need for perfect and safe riding. If you are too far from Tuscany to travel with your own motorcycle or simply just want to experience a new model of the motorbike, you can rent one from them. A helmet is mandatory in Italy, if you do not have your own, you may rent it from them.
Italy is a great place to ride, but not a place to learn to ride. Tuscany Motorcycle Tours is not looking for fast riders, but confident riders. You need to be able to ride any type of turn with a touring bike, including tight switchbacks. Their guides are not instructors and they will refuse to give lessons on how to ride.
Adrian is a Spanish rider who lives in Tuscany since 2009. In all these years he had the opportunity of riding his bikes all over the Tuscan region. He loves the Tuscan landscapes, nature, food, and wine. You can feel his passion for motorcycles and for his job! He speaks 4 languages, English, French, Italian, and Spanish. He will make his best to provide an unforgettable experience to his travel companions.
